We traveled to Chiang Mai from Atlanta, Georgia for a 24 day visit from mid January to mid February. The Santitham Guest House is on a typical busy street on the edge of the downtown district, but that is all that is typical about this place. The first thing you see are the trees and the greenery spilling out over...

After spending 3 weeks at Santitham Guest House I feel like it's my Chiang Mai home. Because we traveled in and out a couple of times we had the wonderful opportunity to stay in three different guest rooms, each one unique and beautiful. They were each clean, comfortable, and perfect. All of the buildings and the grounds were constructed artistically...

What a magical place! It's surrounded by trees, plants, birds, koi ponds. Such a nice getaway from the city, even though you're still in the city. Plenty of good places to eat nearby, get massages, and only a 5-7 minute walk to ITM massage school. I love how each room has its own personality and decor. The staff are so...

Before we arrived in Chiang Mai, we called Noland (the owner and transplanted North Carolinian) and asked a bizilion questions! Not only was he graceful but he gave us wonderful information and, along with his manager Nat, booked some of our excursions for our forthcoming visit. We were pleasantly surprised upon arrival that, behind the gates of Santitham Guest House...

The Santitham guest house was the perfect place to call home in Chiang Mai. The accommodations are great and the price is hard to beat. Our room had a/c, a mini fridge, and a private bathroom. The design and craftsmanship of each room is a work of art. The property is lush with greenery and cool water features.... a little...

We stayed at the Santitham for 3 nights whilst in Chiang Mai. It was a fabulously calming and tranquil place away from the centre of Chiang, but still close enough to be right back in the thick of it if you choose. The staff were absolutely wonderful, so helpful, friendly and welcoming - they even ran to flag down a...

the guesthouse is amazing. In the hustle and bustle of Santitham, this is almost like an oasis. Unfortunately, our room faced the main road and we could hear the motorbikes roaring from our bed. A double glaze could probably avoid this. Also by mistake we took a room with shared bathroom and we had to wait for quite some time...

This place is like a secret heaven in chiang mai, we arrived to the welcoming running water in the lovely zen garden, which is so peaceful even though its located on a busy road. The staff on reception were all lovely and welcoming, they helped us with taxis, trips and recommendations of the area and secured us discount on our...

Liked it here, and I would probably go back. The upsides: it was very reasonably price, in an interesting location (not a lot of sit down places to eat, more traditional Thai street food). The buildings at Santitham Guest House are sweet. Wonderful grounds and landscaping. The rooms, and they only had the least expensive when we booked, were stuffy....
