We spent two nights with two kids while visiting Chiang Mai. The location is very good. close to everything. and the service was good. Had a problem with the hot water but it was not too bad. Breakfast was good as well.

The hotel is only a 15min drive from the airport and although the hotel can arrange a transfer, grab a cab from the airport and it will only cost you 150THB. Amazingly I was allowed to check in at 11am which was great. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The room was good, very comfortable bed, and the daily... More

We booked two rooms which were tastefully decorated, spotlessly clean and next door to each other and all the staff were fab and friendly. Complementary tea and coffee and water and biscuits and kit Kats also provided in the room. We had an issue with a blind but it was fixed within 5 minutes of reporting it. The hotel was... More

Great hotel on a quiet street within walking distance to temples, restaurants and markets. Great price, comfortable, spacious room, friendly staff, free wifi, hot water for showers, and a nice breakfast buffet. Would stay there again.

Stayed here for 3 nights a family of 4 to explore chiang mai, location great, restaurants all around and walking distance to the large market area and walls. Temple next door. The hotel was immaculate and modern and the staff were lovely. The pool area is nice, outside but covered over so the water was a bit chilly but nice... More

I stayed here two nights in the grand room and it was very spacious, new and well kept. The location is within walking distance to the old town and night markets yet on a quiet back street. I couldnt pick a fault with the hotel.

We stayed in a 2 bedroom apartment on the 2nd floor. It's in walking distance of all needed amenities as well as markets and restaurants. The rooms were large and clean. The pool is ICE COLD so after a day in the heat exploring it's the perfect way to cool down with a delicious cocktail!

I've visited Chiang Mai with my wife and two kids (2 & 4 years) in May 2016. The de Chai Colonial Hotel is situated near the Tha Phae Gate in a very calm side street. Distance to the old town is around 5-10 min walk and to the night marked at Chang Klan Rd its about 15 min walk. But... More

De Chai is a very nice hotel, very well located in Chiang Mai - walking distance from several attractions, the night market and one of the city gates and very close to a busy commercial street. Nice welcome greetings. Good breakfast.
