We could not have been happier, the staff were amazing and so helpful. The welcome and book in made sure we knew all about the area and our room and a free shuttle runs to the night market each evening. The rooms are big and have loads of lovely touches. The bathroom is huge with shutters to the main room.... More

The Rim has a very good location for visiting the old town of Chiang Mai (walking distance to most attraction, temples etc.). Personnel was always helpful and nice, however the do not speak English very well (they speak good enough). The hotel is Thai style type, and it is a boutique hotel – pretty quiet and not too big. It... More

We stayed here 4 nights while exploring Chiang Mai. All of the staff are super friendly and helpful. We booked a superior room for 3 of us that was near the pool. The room had 3 twin beds but one of them appeared to have been rolled in as an extra and was pretty uncomfortable. Our room was clean, but... More

We spent X-Mass family vacation in Chiang Mai so I booked two rooms in this hotel located on the edge of the Old city. Here are the positive and less positive points about this place. Positive: - Great customer service always with a smile. - Daily free shuttle to local markets. - Free daily refill of Mini-Bar (Deluxe rooms) and... More

This hotel was a great find being situated on the edge of the old walled city and within easy walking distance to many of the main temples. While located on a main road the hotel is surprisingly quiet. We had a spacious deluxe room overlooking the pool. The outside patio was nice and roomy with chairs and a table. Our... More

My wife and I spent 3 nights at the rim while in chiang Mai. The location is perfect, right on the border of the inner city, a few minute tuk tuk or motorbike to any temple or restaurant in the city. The hotel itself was beautiful and very relaxing/quiet & clean. The staff were extremely friendly and helped us out... More

Amazing standout service in this beautifully set hotel. The hotel is small with approximately 30 rooms, something I normally avoid as I enjoy the anonymity of a large hotel, however it was perfect; the staff where extremely attentive without encroaching on your personal space and the rooms where extremely spacious with excellent amenities. The standout moment was when we returned... More

The hotel is very comfortable. It is composed by the several buildings of an old temple. At its center is a nice green area, on which the guest rooms open, with pool, open air bar and shaded sitting. Our room was quite spacious, very clean, pleasant and quiet. A very nice place to get back to and relax. Personnel are... More

Stayed here for 4 nights during december and paid 130 euros per night so kind of expectations were higher. Rooms: + :- Nice spacious rooms - but the bed was rock hard, felt like sleeping in a tatami mat. Pool: - was cold due to no heating and the season was not helping it Food: + Restuarant and cocktails for... More

This is my 2nd stay in this hotel in a year. It's a lovely hotel, with character rooms. Nicely set and appointed and everything works. Good staff and service, and breakfast also a bit basic but nothing to complain about. Is on the SW corner of the Chiang Mai fort so a bit of a walking distance to the main... More
