The hotel is on the main Nimman Road . The building is beautiful with antique decor. No elevator but only 3 floors. The snack room is great ; they provide free bottled water , biscuits and cookies. Rooms are clean, beds comfortable and hear no noise from the busy road ( except airplane ). Good security to enter each floor...

Cute little boutique hotel with a charming vintage concept. Friendly and helpful staffs. Despite being in one of the busiest street (Nimman) in Chiangmai, the hotel was located seclude from the crowd so we could still get to relax. However, breakfast area was a little packed and airplane sound can be loud at times. Overall it was a great stay...

This is a quirky little hotel. The rooms are in old Colonial style. Nothing fancy but clean and everything you need. The staff are fabulous, breakfast is great and the location is perfect. I definitely recommend this friendly hotel. There is an outside table area perfect for relaxing at the end of the day.

We stayed at the Yesterday Hotel for 9 nights. It's in a bustling section of Chiang Mai that is full of great restaurants and walking distance to a huge mall. The hotel is a beautiful older colonial style hotel tucked away behind their very modern coffee shop so you don't hear any road noise. It's rather simple inside with vintage...

My friends and I stayed in Suite room (2 bedrooms). The hotel is clean and well-decorated. The staff was friendly and service-minded especially the receptionist who always helped us with taxi bookings and luggage handling after checking out. The only drawback is there is only one bahtroom for suit room type. We are a group of 4 ladies so it...

We have been to Chiangmai many times and will try new accommodation each visit. My partner likes antique furniture n colonial look n so I chose Yesterday. Stayed for two nights on the 2nd floor. The location is excellent. We didn't hear any traffic noise from our room. What we like about the place is their security to use the...

We were thrilled with our choice of Yesterday-a sweet little boutique hotel-included bicycles, snack bar, bottled waters and breakfast! Perfect spot-very comfortable-easy to get around on bike, foot, or taxi trucks. Fun antique decor-clean-would recommend! Arrived there via Tuk Tuk from airport too! Fun! Great value.

This boutique hotel is in a great part of Chiang Mai near shopping and lots of restaurants. The hotel is very clean and the rooms were pretty quiet. The staff were friendly and helpful and the breakfast was very good. I would recommend this hotel!

A nice rustic back to the yester-year hotel. Every piece of the furniture and fittings was made to look like it was the 60s, even modern TVs was enclosed with wooden boxes to make it feel like it was an antique TV. The hotel staff were attentive and helpful. The hotel is located in a prominent area with many cafes,...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Like no others, Yesterday Hotel is, in many ways, represented the influential era of Thai identity during the mid 80s. The most impressive thing about the hotel might not be only its superb convenient location in the heart of the hip city centre area, Nimmanhaemin, where hundred of chic cafes and small shops are surrounded, but it would be also the sum of its elements and services that are inspired by Thai good old days. The building itself was long known as an international kindergarten and has been renovated into the 25-room boutique hotel since 2008. While the exterior is the mixtures of Thai and Colonial architecture, the interior are somewhat cultural unique. Hanging on the wall of each room, the pictures are the collection of the "Mana-Manee", 20 years ago Thai-primary school textbook and illustrates. The antique furnishings from decorative lamps to non-identical handicraft beds simply remind the visitors of such an era of Thai children culture and nationalism. However, the modern comfortable stay is not overlooked. All services such as free Wifi, electronic door lock, bicycle, safety box, hair dryer, complimentary herbal hot drinks, 24-hour front desk together with many of other amenities and services come as standard in the Deluxe room type and above. Despite the fact that Yesterday Hotel tries its best to provide the most convenient location and comfy stay; above all, for those visitors who are long wishing to wake up oneself childish soul, perhaps... this might be the place. ... more   less
