Clean pool. Clean rooms. Good food. Lots of friendly staff to help. Great location. This place is a gem for the value in old town. One suggestion is don't allow smoking in the hotel entrance. Arriving to elephant pants blowing clouds of smoke as you walk in is not good marketing.

The title says it all ! The guesthouse is clean with spacious rooms, you can pass by the pool if the temperature of Chiang mai is too high for you, the staff members are friendly, special dedication to "Jul" (sorry if I didn't spell it right) Who helped organize our nice journey with the elephant, he was kind, friendly and...

I stayed here for a week when I was trekking around Thailand. The reception staff were extremely helpful and friendly when I checked in and showed me to my room. The room was basic but very clean. The bed was comfy, the bathroom had seen better days but everything worked and the towels were lovely and soft! Yes the room...

If you want a cheap simple room with a slightly warm shower then here is your place. The restaurant is nice and has good food, the trip planner was also nice. Hotel lobby is pretty and is right across from a temple. Good location and the street is clean and not many people go on it.

PLUS: Location was great. The guesthouse is also very nice and spacious. MINUS: 1- From my personal experience in Thailand, many people look great until you start talking to them and thats when they rip you off. This is what happened with their in-house tourist agency and especially the guy Nick. He sweet-talked us into the overpriced tour to "elephant...

The cleanliness of the bathroom in particular and the very tired from use and oil stained bedding made our stay not very comfortable. The inside of the rooms is not cared for and long past their use by date. The view from the window was a building site. All in all - good location, good price but filthy.
