All the staff (cleaning, front desk) were very helpful and accommodating. The rooms were spacious with lots of storage and a comfy bathroom.
On the main floor is a Lotus grocery store, a bank with money exchange ATM, self-serve laundromat, wee coffee shop and pharmacy - all the fixins. Minutes away on the main street and on the soi heading towards the mountain are lots of coffee shops, bars, restaurants, etc.

I was surprised at how spacious the room was. Until now, I had always stayed in hotels near the Night Bazaar, but this was my first time staying at the Empire in the Nimman district. The atmosphere was filled with young people and Western solo travelers, which changed my image of Chiang Mai. As we were traveling as a group, we all gathered in the room and had a great time. There was also a microwave and a medium-sized refrigerator built in, making it very suitable for a long-term stay. There were many stylish shops and massage parlours nearby, and I visited various shops every day. I would definitely like to stay again next time.

Spacious, spotless and very well equipped rooms, friendly and helpful staff, impressive public areas all made our 3 night stay at this property an absolute pleasure. Location can't be faulted, just 15 min Grab away from the airport, Central Shopping Mall and Old Town Chiang Mai. Everything you need, restaurants, 7/11, Maya Mall are just one or two minutes walk away. 5 stars for staff, location, cleanliness, rooms and breakfast, 4 stars for amenities as the only thing lacking was a pool, but in Chiang Mai you don't have time to sit around a pool!!! TOTAL value for money and well recommended.

Easy to access any area in town. Basic but spacious room Value for your money. WIFI is easy to use also there is parking under the building. Breakfast is basic for what you paid. Also there is basic gym on the highest floor.

Chiang Mai trip with my friend we booked for 2 rooms. The room was nice and clean, located in the middle of the city easy to explore Nimman area. We did try breakfast it was good clean not many of choice but the taste is nice. Very recommend if you plan to stay in the city area 👍🏻

Great hotel close to all the best restaurants and bars in Nimman. Staff was very helpful and friendly helping with different things. Breakfast is simple but good. Tried both the superior double and super deluxe rooms. Both are great value for money but recommend the super deluxe with the extra space. Bathrooms are a bit outdated, especially the showers. Has water gun in the toilet.

Best location right next to the street. WIFI is working as it intend. Parking under the building is enough. Room also spacious come with balcony. Staffs is nice and room is very clean. I will come back again for sure.

With the best location in Chiang Mai, this hotel must be one of the best. I was so suprise when I reach the room. It's very big, clean and beautiful but so cheap. There are lots of nice restaurants, pubs, shops and ect. around the hotel. I really love this hotel.

I am not sure if empire residence offers airport transfers. if they dont, you can easily get a prepaid taxi at the airport for less the US$3 and they will safely take you to emipre residence
There are more places to choose from in the Chiang Mai area.
