I stayed almost two weeks here and was more than happy. Room was clean and simple, had a fan and a/c. Everyone I talked to was nice. The location is great, surrounded by lots of good places to eat and close to the Thapae gate. Would have stayed longer if they had room.

Upon arrival the hotels owner, Kitty, greeted us and gave us a charming tour of her hotel and then gave us some fantastic information about chiang Mai - attractions, history, and directions! She was very kind and helpful our whole stay. Rooms are basic and clean. They have a great system for bringing you fresh drinking water everyday (overlooked by...

We booked just 2 nights, but ended up staying 7. The location is great, especially when the sunday night market is right around the corner (only on sunday of course). The owner helps you plan any tour you want and is very sweet. The breakfast is included which is good but basic. The garden/lounge is very relaxing with hammocks and...

Excellent location central to markets and restaurants. Only a three minute walk to Thaepae Gate. Staff is friendly and helpful. Rooms are basic (with everything you need) and priced accordingly. Had a great stay for a very reasonable price. Thanks Kitty!

We've just leaving from a three night stay at Baan JaJa - we have absolutely loved it here. First of all it is excellent value - £12 a night for a double room with fan and hot water whenever you want - just a flick of a switch and a little wait. Couple that with a buffet breakfast and tea,...

Basic but well priced accommodation. Hot water, air con and a bed. They also provided towels for us which was an added extra. It is in a great location for exploring the inner city of Chiang Mai and was an excellent location for the Sunday walking market. The communal area was really cool with hammocks and seats but the only...

Very basic accommodation but you got towels, a warm shower and bottled water so can't complain. Not very sociable as we didn't actually see many other travelers at the hostel but it's in a great location to go to bars and restaurants. Staff were friendly and organised our bus on to Pai for a very good price (150 Baht).
