Great for walkers
Places to stay are graded on a 0-100 scale. The higher the grade, the easier it is for travelers to find restaurants and things to do within walking distance.
We arrived slightly early on a weekday and the friendly staff was quick in her task to allow us an earlier check-in, free of charge. Questions on tours were also attended to quickly although it is understandably pricier than finding online. The rooms and toilet is very clean. There is a 24 hours Mc Donald's just beside the building which makes it very convenient for supper or early breakfast. The best part is that hotel guests are entitled to a 15% discount upon presenting the hotel keycard. Tuk-tuks can be found quite easily outside the hotel due to its central location. It is near to the Sunday Night Market but is a longer walk away from the daily night market, the Anusarn Night Market. There is no 7-11 nearby and the nearest one requires a 3 minute walk away. The room is basic and functional for a short stay. Overall, we had a pleasant stay here.

Stayed for 4 nights, 2 rooms. Rooms were bright, spacious and clean. In particular, I like how the complimentary water were packed in glass bottles, which reduced plastic waste. Friendly staffs, easy check-in and out. Located right across thapae gate, this hotel is walking distance to various night markets such as the weekend night markets and arnusan market, warorot market and museums. Breakfast was simple but adequate variety.
Despite the above, noises from the reception area travel easily to our rooms. We could hear people taking at the reception loudly one night although our rooms was already not facing the lobby. Would also appreciate providing addition pillows in the room as the hotel's pillows were quite soft.

McD & Spa are just next door, and you get 10% off if you show your room key.
Nearby you'll find Starbucks, 3-5 pharmacies, Tao Kae Noi shop, about 4 tour companies, book shop, cafes, restaurants. All these reachable within 1 minute walk!
Room is very spacious. Cleanliness is ok. Walls are not sound proof. Can be noisy. Water pressure is unstable. Toilet door is sand glass. You can see silhouette while doing your business, which is bad. Not suitable if you want privacy. It has its flaws, but the benefit of the location supercedes all the other flaws.
There's parking area. Breakfast available at some costs. Laundry/ironing facilities provided although located right at the entrance, visible to McD go-ers, which is weird.
Umbrella, mini fridge, safety box, indoor slippers and basic toiletries provided in the room. However lack of power socket!
Receptionists are friendly, helpful and nice.

After 11 years of coming to Chiang mai, the Imm hotel is my favorite. The management and staff are professional and friendly, going the extra mile to ensure your comfort, satisfaction and safety. The rooms are large and spotlessly clean. Housekeeping is regular and efficient with restocking of fresh towels, soap, shampoo, and drinking water. Free cable and reliable Wifi is included and the rooms have air conditioning. Buffet style breakfast is available daily. McDonald's and a coffee bar as well as a cash machine are at the front of the building. Onsite car and motorbike parking is located at the back of the hotel. The hotel is centrally located within walking distance from the famous Thapae Gate and Sunday night walking street market. Also you will find many shops, restaurants, pubs (some with live music). If you want to venture further, Tuk Tuk's are lined up in front of the hotel. The Imm hotel manager will gladly print your TM 30 (visa extension form) for you. Check in and out is fast and easy with a 24 hour staffed reception. Value for money is excellent. I'm sure you will enjoy your stay at Imm.

This hotel is situated in an excellent location. The property generally and our room are both spotlessly clean. Staff including Manager Khun Pimonphat are really friendly. The free WiFi is really fast and whilst the breakfast selection is small it is tasty and certainly enough to set you up for the day. Also the hotel are following strict covid requirements. Would I recommend this establishment, for sure. Highly recommended

This hotel has a great location with a short walk to food and local sites. The rooms were clean and the staff were nice. However, the interior of the hotel is not air conditioner or well lit which leaves a kind of depressing feeling. It is also cavernous so noise carries. Bring ear plugs. The breakfast was ok.

The best location for walking the area. Just in front of the busy gate, and easy access to the Sunday Market. Location is so central. Hotel room was fine. Basic but comfortable. Front desk staff is wonderful. Helpful and friendly. Breakfast included was a ‘Grab and Go’ style with both east and west dishes.

Good location. Right opposite the Tha Phae Gate, a historical site. Rooms are clean and spacious. The elderly room attendant was very courteous and helpful. The reception team was very helpful. A big shout out to Ben (a lady. picture attached) , the receptionist who was very helpful in providing us with information when needed, always smiling and always courteous. The noodle shop next door serves delicious noodles. There is a McDonald's within the hotel compound.

Vegetarians may be disappointed here as the only thing they may be able to eat is toast. However, staff are usually polite and friendly despite the long hours they work. The hotel is really large but has a hospital feel to its long corridors. Only one lift available here. On the lobby floor they have a disabled toilet. This hotel is next to a tiny McDonald's if you like that kind of thing. Pharmacy Boots is across street, around the corner and money exchange too.

Stayed in this hotel 3 days. When I checked in, I was told the room was not ready but if I upgraded room, I would be able to get in room right away. I paid extra to upgrade my room. When I went in the room, it was nice and clean. Around 2000, I began hearing bass and loud music. I guess there was a nightclub facing my window directly. I tried to sleep but was unable too. I went to the lobby to ask if I may be able to switch rooms, I was told they were booked. I proceeded to listen to club music until 2 in the AM. The next day, the hotel changed rooms which was great but I was a bit disgruntled over what had happened. I asked if anyone else noticed the loud music, and they told me they have frequent complaints. I don't see how it is fair to place customers in that room and not tell them what they are up for. One staff member was extremely helpful and apoligetic, which actually made me feel better for awhile. The other staff members would roll their eyes and snicker at me. Very rude and unprofessional.
