We walked past this place and asked if they had a room (we didn't book in advance). Baan Ramida ended up being exactly what we were looking for: basic, clean, simple, fluffy pillows, with an excellent location inside the old city - and an excellent rate of 650 baht/night (keeping in mind we were a walk-in guest). I made the...

First of all, the location is perfect. Very centrally located, close to many restaurants and the street food market near the northern gate. The room was very clean, in fact it looked brand new. Very modern bathroom and shower. We had a problem with the hot water on our first night, but they were very apologetic about it and fixed...

My Agoda reservation in another Hotel got all screwed up-needed a place to stay just for 1 night. What a great little find. Cheap and extremely clean room. It had almost everything one needs except lights that you could actually see with- forget about reading( I travel with headlights ) . That is usually my general complain in SEASIA. Yes,...

I had a double bed room on the second floor for 500 a night. Nice and clean room, well furnished with AC and a fridge. Good bathroom but the water mixer is not working so the water is either cold or very hot. Nice courtyard. I didn't try the coffee shop downstairs because it opens at 9.30/10am and I need...

Excellent place with spotless rooms and right in the heart of the old city yet it is nice and quiet at night. Just next to the tourista strip. They also happen to have a barista run coffee shop underneath and he won the Thailand barista competition a a couple of times with his certification and trophies on display. The coffee...

We stumbled upon Baan Ramida on a weekend when all the other guest houses were filled up. It was a nice surprise, the staff didn't speak much English but were helpful nonetheless! It's in a good location, not too bad of a walk to the Sunday Walking Street or Tapae Gate :) There are also many good restaurants in this...

The hotel is closer to an American motel. The room itself was decent sized with a desk, mini fridge, ac, and towel rack. The room is fair sized. My main issue was the bathroom. The bathroom was not clean and I didn't have time to have them clean it because I was out all day. The toilet had yellow stains...

I wanted a cheap place to stay because I was travelling solo and this little guesthouse checked all the required boxes: free wifi, private bathroom, air conditioning, soft bed, close to main roads yet quiet. That having been said, it's a little worn and during my bedbug check (which they passed), the mattress had some gross stains on it. But...

Very clean. Price very low. Room very confortable. Staff not so bad but with no English. So close to the road with all night pubs and clubs. Really a good trade off ;). No triple rooms. No elevator. Xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxcxcxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
