We are travelling across Thailand so wanted to find a place that was both affordable, nice, and central in location. 33 Poshtel did not disappoint! After booking a stay of 5 nights, we opted for their private room and arrived at a very pleasant welcome by who I believe might be one of the owners. He explained everything clearly, and showed us around. The decor of both the communal areas and bedroom was immaculate and modern and well deserving of the name ‘posh’tel. Facilities were above average in the way of bathrooms and showers, swimming pool, and communal kitchen and lounge, as well as services provided (laundry etc) Beds were comfy, and the rooms were adequately air conditioned. Nice added touches were the free WiFi and Netflix in the rooms, the general aroma reminiscent of a spa, the quality of the breakfast provided and overall just very pretty and ‘zen’. Would recommend and would stay again!

33 poshtel was one of the nicest hostels during my 6 month trip away. I had the bottom bunk in a 10 person dorm with a shared bathroom. The dorm was half full during my 6 nights there but I imagine it still wouldn’t feel crowded given how big the room is. The hostel was extremely clean! All beds have personal lights, a fold up table, plug sockets and thick, curtains...very private compared to other hostels I’ve stayed in. The included self-service breakfast consisted of coffee/tea, eggs, toast, some cold meats along with Asian style (noodles etc). The kitchen also had a fridge to store your own foods in. The hostel provided free water re-fills along with unlimited tea/coffee throughout the day. Towels were also free of charge although they did charge a deposit, which was refunded upon check out. Location wise it’s inside the old town walls, great for visiting temples. it was slightly far from the night market and you do need to walk down quite a quiet road, which can be unnerving at night. Although this wouldn’t put me off staying here again. My only small complaint would be that it was a fairly quiet hostel, so I didn’t meet many people here. This obviously just depends on who is staying there and not the hostels fault. Will definitely stay again when I’m back in Chiang Mai!!!

It’s a very beautiful hostel, decorated with very good taste. Touches of wood and white that makes it feel like home. With a very nice pool, really clean, available shared rooms with showers inside, and very nice attention from the owners. This is a great place to stay! Also, breakfast is included and there’s everything you can imagine, bread, butter, coffee/tea, milk, thai breakfast and I’m forgetting something for sure... I was planning on spending just one night but I extended so I could enjoy of the environment more time! Very recommendable!

I only stayed one night but I was really impressed by this hostel. I had the top bunk in a 4 bed dorm and the facilities are great. Each dorm has their own shower and we had two toilets. Breakfast snacks was also a great treat! The have a bread maker and it was a lovely seedy loaf. Also, double bonus for a coffee machine that grinds fresh coffee beans! I had been on instant for most of my trip is Thailand so this was a very welcomed surprise!

We enjoyed our stay at 33Poshtel. It was very quiet there although we knew we weren't the only guests at the time. The room was nice, the pool was nice, although a little bit disappointing that there was hardly any furniture to sit around the pool and I think the pool is in the shade the whole day, which is good and bad ;-) The free snacks are nice, but it's mainly toast and coffee. The very well equipped kitchen was a nice bonus. We liked the location of the accommodation and we booked a cooking class that the staff recommended and enjoyed it. Bit disappointing that you can only use the pool until 8 pm. Also we were a bit surprised about some of the information given to us by the staff. The receptionist told us there was no market on Sunday, only a night bazar and it would be East of town and there would be no food there. So we went for dinner and afterwards we discovered the huge Sunday night market that offered everything (including dozens of food stalls) you could want. It was quite close to 33 Poshtel, too. Maybe it was just miscommunication... Also we booked the airport transfer for 200 THB. We asked how long it'll take the get to the airport and were told 20-30 minutes. Well it took less than ten minutes and so we were quite annoyed about the price we paid because it was really close and we paid a lot less for the taxi for a shorter distance... Really should've looked up the distance beforehand.

Stayed here recently at the beginning of December, Chiang Mai was the first stop of my Thailand tour and what a delight it was staying here. Extremely close to the airport, was about 15 minute taxi journey away (we used Grab) and friendly welcoming staff. It’s shoes off at the front door and you need to pay a deposit as well. The room was very clean and tidy, we stayed in private double and rooms were cleaned daily and you get a complimentary bottle water each day as well. My slight qualm would be that there is no safety deposit box but generally felt everything was secure. There is also a swimming pool as well. Even though they claim there was no breakfast (they basically do but called them snacks), they serve food in the kitchen/dining room every morning, there is fresh coffee, tea, baked eggs and fried chicken as hot options and there’s plenty of delicious fresh fruit, toast and cereal as well. There is also a communal fridge that you can put food in as well. Very close to everything in the old city, quiet at night as well so a good night sleep is assured. The staff are very helpful, it’s easy to book tours and cooking classes through them, they even can organise bespoke day trips where they book you a driver who will take you to various places. Would definitely stay here again

Definitely one of the nicest hostels I’ve ever stayed at. Everything is super clean and useful. The beds have their own little table/shelf with a light and outlet and privacy curtain. Everything’s trendy and designed well. The espresso maker was heaven in the mornings and the front desk staff were SUPER friendly and accommodating. Would stay again, worth the extra money.

The name says it all but the great price makes it even better! This is literally one of, if not the cleanest hostels I've stayed in. Check-in was smooth, the staff lovely, and the layout is superb. Stayed in the bunk rooms, really comfortable beds, plenty of space, plugs and lockers. Awesome rain showers with hot water plus really good AC. The place has a real eclectic feel about it, thought out fixtures and design. Great snack/breakfast Bar, plenty of fresh fruit, muesli, free espresso and water. Awesome salt water pool, hang out area and co-working space. Great location, close to everything you need including night markets and 7-11. Can also buy drinks from them directly. Would highly recommend this place for people looking to chill.
