Jungala house is very well located . You can walk anywhere in Chiang Mai. Very attentive staff. They are always helping you at any time. Clean and spacious rooms. If you want to visit Chiang Mai, at Jungala you can contact with Vincent (perfect guide) and planning your days. Price-quality highly recommended.

Great location in old city, walkable distance to sunday market, gates and temples. 10 meters next to 7-11 and one of the best priced money change shop, and 3 minutes walk to Lila massage run by women prison. Bars, restaurants, bike rent, and local food market are all around within 1-5 minutes by walk. Super handy! I booked 5 nights... More

We stay two nights in doubles with fan. Big rooms with toilet inside, and nice share garden with tables. Basic but for the price...very good option. A bit of noise at the begining of the night because is in a party area, but nothing important. Very well situated Regented by a german girl, her husband and their two kids. Very... More

Well located in the old city, easy to get around and we mostly walked everywhere so if you want to do that its a good place to stay. It is around a 15 min walk to the night market and very close to the sunday market. There are lots of places to get taxis/tuktuks/sungtaos around as well and is located... More

Jungala house is a good value for money! Great location, inside the old city and close to Taphae Gate, spacious and comfy rooms, helpful owners. The rooms on the ground floor are a little bit dark and the beds are not the best but OK. It would have been nice to have some tables and chairs on the terrace outside... More

Thank you Paolo for your review and suggestion. We actually thought about chairs on the balcony. However the reason we decided differently is that some guests might would smoke outside the rooms on the balcony, while other room neighbours are non smokers. More

Was only going to stay for a couple of days, but had everything I needed and was in a great location to get to a market and several awesome vegan restaurants (there are night clubs close by however so if you are a light sleeper you may want to consider another location). Ended up staying a week and a half.... More

Been there for a whole week. I really liked the idea of the 'room books' where you just write down anything you consumed. Beautiful garden area in the courtyard. Clean and comfortable rooms, good prices, very friendly personal, nice atmosphere! Would come back anytime.

Wonderful! Absolutely. Staff was impeccable and very friendly, arranging tours, buses, pick ups etc. Beautiful property with outside lounge area. It was situated in a great part of town, tucked down an alley way. There can be some noise at night from the bars around the corner, but as they say, if you can't beat em, join em. There are... We arrived in Chiang Mai at 6am and we found Jungala Guesthouse around 8am. It was a great place to stay, good prices (300baht) for a double room with private bathroom with hot shower. The owner and staff were really nice and always available. It's such a nice environment that they trust you to put all your bills in the... More
