Small room, hard bed, average cleanliness, no wifi on the first floor, staff not friendly and more focused on their mobile. Affordable price but that's what you got. And a bit far from the night market but you can manage with a tuk tuk or by renting a bike. No thanks!!!

The place is nice, rooms and swimming pool are clean. The food is not expensive and very good. But they have to change the staff... The receptionist is annoying, is not helful at all. Too bad... unfortunatelly, avoid this hotel if you need any information or any help.

Overall our stay was fine. Based on what we paid to stay here it is worth it BUT if you are looking for anything more then the price you pay don't stay here. We had our own room with a fan and air conditioning but they were not the best quality. The wifi is only in the main outdoor area... More

We got off the sleeper train from Bangkok and one of the Thai taxi drivers handed me a brocher and offered to take me to the northeastern part of the old city for free if I checked out a room here. The room was spacious and clean. The a/c didn't work great but it cooled the room down. The biggest... More

The rooms were clean, however the air conditioning and fan in the room that we stayed in were completely inadequate...it took an eternity to cool the room! The beds were terribly uncomfortable and the staff were rude and unhelpful!

The rooms were dirty, I had blood on my sheets and mattress, cockroaches were everywhere - a couple even checked out while we were there due to a cockroach infestation in their room - the beds were uncomfortable, there's no WiFi in any of the rooms and the staff are comically rude. The signs in reception make it clear you... More

We stayed for 8 nights and would definitely visit again. Location is great. Staff speak English. Clean towels whenever you need them. Local bars and restaurants are all good value and quality. Bed was comfortable. Only negative was the pool as it was dirty and in the shade.

We hadn't booked accommodation and took a tip from a traveller we met on the famous Kao San Rd in Bangkok who recommended SK House. Great recommendation! The staff were so friendly and helpful. The courtyard area is ablaze with flowers and provides a tranquil area to use wifi or read. There is a lovely cool pool - which we... More

The price was 400 Baht, as of now about $16 CDN, so a fair value for budget accom, which this Inn is. Other reviewers commented on staff friendliness, whatever, yes, they are curt at the front desk, but imagine how many farang and our 'expectations" they deal with every single day. The room was clean enough, shower was hot when... More

After traveling 48 hours from Koh Lanta, we arrived at the Chiang Mai train station where we were approached by a vendor. He said they had a room for us, called to confirm and said we would be picked up in one hour. After reluctantly waiting another hour after such a long travel we were picked up and taken to... More
