Nice location and off the main road Huay keow road. Has amenities located nearby, bike rental, 7-11, restaurants etc. Maya shopping mall 500m away. Clean and quiet. Good service apartment. Room service daily, 2x 500mls cold bottled water given daily. Airconditioned room. No pool. Free wifi, hard to connect and slow sometimes. A few senior long stayers here, they like...

Very clean. Bed linen changed out daily. Attentive staff. Basic but very comfortable rooms. Stayed in a suite which was very comfortable with a firm and comfortable king bed. Close to shopping centres and markets. Wifi good. Would stay again for sure.

Stayed for 3 months in 2012, before the Maya shopping center opened in 2014. I am an avid walker/runner, so getting to places on foot from The Dome was always a pleasant adventure. Favorite go-to places were the Chiang Mai Municipal Stadium (running track) which was about 1.5 miles away, and the Chiang Mai University Convention Center, which offers a...

This is the second time I've stayed at The Dome. Even with six months in-between stays, the receptionist immediately recognized me and offered to upgrade me to a larger room for the same price. The place is very well-maintained, the staff is helpful, and the rates are very reasonable, both for short and long-term stays. A restaurant with a fuller...

I was there for weeks and weeks over 2015/2016 (booked a three month stay) and it's clean, cheap (I think $200 a month CAD), the staff are OK (by Thai standards) and the building in and out is aesthetically pleasing. BUT, the noise off of Huay Kaew road is past belief. All night young idiots roar up and down on...

Rooms are basic and clean. Has a full sized functioning fridge. Front desk staff are excellent help for directions, advice and motorbike rental. Location is decent, about 1km from the old wall, and 1km in the other direction to the Nimman area. If you have a bike it is an excellent location.7-11 is a 10 minute walk No blackout curtain

The Dome was a good spot. Clean and simple but comfortable. I do feel the need to report that I was bitten by the cat that lives there. It bit me unprovoked as I got on the elevator on the first floor. As I entered the manager's office to report the bite and find a doctor, I saw the cat...

If you are looking for a reasonable budget hotel this is worth thinking about. Rooms are clean and air conditioned - built around 2009 fairly modern in Thai terms. Set back from Huay Kaew road in small side soi. Great position for attractions, restaurants and shopping mall with 9 screen cinema - MAYA. Stepped access not sutable for wheelchairs.
