Superb hotel. Staff were so friendly, couldn't do enough for you. Rooms were as seen in photos and spotlessly clean. Great location, not far from the old walled area of the city. I'd definitely recommend this hotel to anyone.

This hotel set the bar very high for our trip. We had many destinations and this one stands out as the best. The staff were incredible, all of the them. The coffee delicious. The room was clean, quiet and the bed was so comfortable. Free shuttles to the night market...we truly wish we could have stayed longer here and would go back in a heartbeat. Excellent hotel.

Myself and some of my friends stayed here for extended periods. I have visited Chaing Mai for over 20 years now and this hotel was a real good find . Its exceptional value for money extremely clean and very helpful staff and free coffee and tea in the morning a great salt water swimming pool it’s always clean. They have free car parking / motorbike parking and it’s in a good location. Extremely family friendly as the owners have children which always in the pool which has a children section, and on many other occasions I’ve seen other children very happily playing there.

My family and I stayed here for 3 nights on our family vacation to Thailand. This appears to be a family run hotel that is clean with spacious rooms. The pool area is nice however during our stay, my children wanted to use the pool. My child accidentally knocked over a 2 foot decorative statue (immediately adjacent to the pool) when trying to retrieve a toy from the pool. The statue fell over and broke. We were told by the management that we would need to pay $50 which represents approximately half of the value of the statue. The owner/manager Ann came to show us the video evidence to make the case why we needed to pay for the accident. My child witnessed the entire interaction and felt humiliated and ashamed. He did not want to visit the pool for the rest of our stay. To be honest, the argument and demand for payment ruined our visit to Chiang Mai. The manager could sense how upset my wife and I were and tried to then return the money but it would not have changed the humiliation. I would not recommend this hotel for anyone with children because if they accidentally damage anything, you will be required to pay for it. There is actually an extensive list of items and the associated costs in each room.

We are so sorry for some inconvenience. When we told you the cost of the damage, you refused to pay for it and said everything here was bad for you. The cost of the damage is about 3,500 Baht or more and we firstly estimated then told you to pay only 1,500 Baht because we did not want you to be unhappy. We never blame your son for the damage at all, and our manager said it was an accident so we had to help you and tried to claim the accident from our insurance company. However, there were thousands of people here and lots of families with young children without any accident as happening to you before. We tried to help you in this case by asking our insurance company to pay for the damage instead of asking from you. We have already tried to explain to Booking.com and the customer service team that we would try to get the claim from our insurance and in case that we could not get it, we might ask you to pay for it later in order to help you in another way. As a parent, we should console children that an accident is could happen but they should be more careful to prevent this to happen again. Liability for damage, we must take it appropriately. In case, you drive a car crash into a public light pole and causing damage as you claim it was an accident. However, you cannot avoid taking responsibility for the damage that has already occurred with negligence or careless. From the example that our manager has already answered for your question, in case that you are doing the shopping and then accidentally bump into an item placed in the mall falls down on the floor, if the item is not damaged, you do not have to pay for the accident. If it is damaged, you are also responsible for compensation for damage. We are not sure that you can refuse to pay by American law. as you told to our manager or not, but by Thailand’s law we can ask you to compensate for the cost of the damage caused by this accident. Tips: Walking around the old city is charming with Chiang Mai. There are many small streets and the main ones for walking by. However, traveling is challenging for you always.

Stayed here for three nights when visiting Chang Mai. I believe this is a family run hotel which means you don’t get all the formal check in and check out stuff of a corporate hotel, which is nice. The room is okay, no frills but functional. Same for the toilette. The best part i think is the pool area which looks a lot newer than the rooms and was always great to use after a long day. I think it would be nice if guests could have a breakfast option instead of just a few biscuits and tea. Perhaps add some colour to the room, don’t know it looks a bit bare (forgot to take any pictures).
