This hotel was in the best location despite being on a busy street in the old city it was well insulated from noise. We loved being a few blocks from all the sites. The check in reception area is open air so there are lots of Mosquitos that gather there and around the property. We felt they could do better... More

We stayed for 3 nights in January. Very comfortable boutique style hotel & great location to explore Chiang Mai old city. Good shower, free wifi, good cooked breakfast, staff understood English & were very helpful. Good restaurants across the road (Old City Inn was our favourite). Overall can definitely recommend.

Stayed at this hotel during January, hotel is just right at the center of old city and easy to access the Sunday walking street. I like the location that enable you to catch the public transfer any time. Breakfast is good for you to sit and see people passing around and especially you can get your breakfast anytime anywhere in... More

We chose to stay at U Chiangmai again for our second visit. We stayed for three nights. The staffs always attentive and helpful - they made us feel like home, specious room and clean lobby. We love the hotel location, staff services, clean food and also the black pool at the hotel centre. We definitely recommend to stay at U... More

This is a beautiful boutique hotel. It is hard to find from the outside and doesn't look too grand from the reception but the rooms are immaculate with fresh fruit delivered daily. It was particularly cold when we were in chiang mai and they brought us extra blankets no problem. One nice advantage is that you can get breakfast delivered... More

A really lovely hotel. The location is great, bang in the middle of the old town. The room was beautiful and had a pool directly off it. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was included and had a very good choice from an a la cart menu. We had a massage in the hotel's spa which was also... More

It could be our favorite hotel, but unfortunately it became our nightmare. We tried to stay as much as possible outside the freezing room. U Chiang Mai is a beautiful and well located hotel close to attractions and restaurants, but under expectatives when it comes to cold weather. The room doesn't have any kind of heating and hot water suddenly... More

Dear Mateushfc, Greetings from U Chiang Mai. May I begin by sincerely apologising for your recent disappointing stay with us but at the same time politely clarify a misconception contained in your review. In-room heating is practically non-existent nor available in Thailand and although it may exist I have certainly never come across it either in a hotel or private... More

Five star quality hotel on the street of the Sunday market. The room was very elegant and beautifully decorated. They provided a safe, comfortable bed, swimming pool, and a lovely lobby. The food was very good also.

A very reasonably priced hotel for one that offers such attentive service and amenity. Firstly, the staff are absolutely fantastic - very attentive, friendly and genuine! Major plus points, well done! Secondly the rooms are very well appointed and offer tranquil and relaxing surroundings away from the craziness outside! The hotel is very centrally located within the old city walls... More

I think just about everything that needs to be said about this hotel has been said. Stayed here 5 nights and thoroughly enjoyed everything about the place. Easy to walk down to central square. Plenty of Tuk Tuks about for cheap transport elsewhere, super comfortable rooms and excellent service. In house restaurant and bar worth a visit or two and... More
