A great location, just about as central as you can get within the old city walls. Ratchadamnoen Road is packed with shops, restaurants, tour operators and the ubiquitous massage parlours. Not the quietest of places, yet the hotel is so well designed that a few steps from the road you find yourself in an attractive and peaceful oasis. Rooms are...

Perfect location. This is like a sanctuary in the middle of an exciting city. Rooms were nicely decorated and clean. Service was exceptional from start to finish. They helped me book my daily excursions and arranged a taxi pickup at 4am on the day of our departure. And they even gave us a breakfast to-go on the last day!

I recently stayed for three nights at the U Chiangmai Mai and it was an amazing experience. I was upgraded to a suite upon arrival, which was a pleasant surprise. The suites are larger than regular rooms but lack privacy, as they are located on the ground floor. Service was great and all the employees were very friendly and always...

The hotel is situated in the center of town, which was perfect for our family of four and walking distance to many shops, bars, markets, shrines, temples and restaurants. It is very quaint and the rooms were right sized but also at the right price. We were thrilled with the front desk service, especially with King, who was very helpful....

We choose this hotel because we love the U Sukumvit in Bangkok, so we had high expectations. The location is superb, right in the centre of the old town, the Sunday market is right outside the door. The beds are huge and very comfortable, and the room was great, finished with a cool, in both senses of the word, black...
