Elliebum really feels like home. The main reason is the owner of the place, Gade. She has a big heart for her customers. She took the time to give us advice about Chiang Mai and her private cookingclass was very interesting and tasteful. Rooms are spacious and comfy. Free use of Wi-Fi, dvd's and books are a nice plus. Elliebum was quite literally home in Chiang Mai! My boyfriend and I loved it thoroughly and especially loved the personal touch Miss Gade put on our stay. On arrival, she walked us through the sights and activities in Chiang Mai, and, after helping us decide what we wanted to do, she helped us book them so we had a seamless...

I'm sitting here at Elliebum writing this review trying to think of all the adjectives I can use to describe this place. Large rooms with very comfortable beds and hot showers with big fluffy towels. Extremely well located in the old town and only one block from the Sunday Night walking street market and a lovely Thai restaurant on the...

Elliebum is a great place to stay. I stumbled upon it while walking around searching for a guesthouse, as I wanted to move from the one I was currently staying in. Once I met Gade, the owner, and saw the room, I knew it was the place for me. It’s conveniently located in the old city but just far enough...

I can't rave enough about how amazingly enjoyable my stay at the Elliebum guesthouse was while I visited Chiang Mai this past April. The owner and caretaker, Gade, went so far above and beyond to make me feel incredibly welcome in her quaint cafe and guesthouse. From taking the time to sit down with me and a map to show...

Elliebum is truly wonderful. Gade is what makes Elliebum so fantastic. She is an incredible host; you really feel like a friend or family member when you stay here. The guest rooms are above her cafe which is trendy and charming and serves great smoothies and breakfast. The guest rooms are clean, spacious, well decorated and have great AC (very...

I have stayed at many guest houses in Chiang Mai and this one is by far my favorite. It has a wonderful, homey atmosphere with a cool, cozy coffee house just downstairs. There are only two rooms, which are stylishly decorated and feel really intimate. Gade, the owner is a jack of all trades and does everything on her own....

My friends and I stayed at Elliebum for 5 nights during Songkran this April. Thanks to Gade, our time at Elliebum was unforgettable. I travel a lot for work and spend at least 2 weeks of every month in a hotel. This is the first place I've stayed where I really felt at home and cared for. This is definitely...

Great place to stay. The owner (Gade) is relaxed and friendly and full of knowledge about Chiang Mai and places to go. She seems to take a genuine interest in all her guests and goes out of her way to help. We were made to feel very welcome and she has stamped her sunny personality on the place. Her fruit...

My teenage daughter and I were lucky enough to stay for 5 nights at the Elliebum guesthouse in Chiang Mai in April during the Songkran Festival and I can't recommend this guesthouse highly enough. Gade, the owner was so lovely, even inviting us to join her for a staff party and giving us gifts for the festival. The breakfasts, especially...
