I spent a couple of weeks here, extending my initial stay because I liked it so much. The management and staff were extremely friendly, proactive and helpful, and really went above and beyond what was expected. When I checked in they sat me down with some maps of the area and showed me all the interesting places to go -...

I always read previous reviews to compare. Firstly, its more of a hostel with a turndown service and some delicious Thai coffee! If you want a hotel pay hotel prices. Arrival procedure was very informative Room was immaculate 5 minutes from the city, staff are amazing. It's a tranquil retreat from city hustle and bustle. Go to the recommended eating...

We stayed for 3 nights in Banilah and it was a very accomodation ! The owner was really helpful with everything : giving us good advices on where to go, where to eat, how to book our bus ticket to go to Chiang Rai. The guest-house is away from the center agitation but the neighborhood around is full of little...

Booked 4 nights but stayed for 6, super clean and comfy. It was our favourite hotel and loved how great the ladies running the place were. They answered any questions and helped with recommendations (food, markets, activities, bikes, EVERYTHING). We went to many of the local places they suggested and they were all great. Also they make the best Thai...

Had the best stay here last month, me and my partner spent four nights at Banilah and wished we could have stayed longer! The staff are amazing, their service and friendliness is second to non. We haven't received service like this in five star UK hotels, the Banilah ladies are extremely helpful and welcoming. We had a drink on arrival...

We stayed here for 5 nights and it was brilliant. Nancy and the rest of the staff were fantastic. We were given a drink on arrival and Nancy showed us maps of the city telling us where to eat, what markets to go to and more. She also organised our cooking class and elephant sanctuary visit as well as taxis....

Very reasonable and clean accommodation. I stayed here for 3 nights in August 2016 in a double bedroom with a fan. The room is basic but very clean and the deco is nice. The other guests were polite and well behaved. The staff are wonderful and helped me book transportation to the airport at a very reasonable rate. Nothing to...

Absolutely loved our stay at Banilah, from the moment we got there the staff were so welcoming and friendly! We arrived at the hotel at 7am, and the reception doesn't open until 8am, but the lady was notified we had arrived and let us have the room early without having the hassle of checking in. We got a couple hours...

A lovely quiet guesthouse to enjoy the city in the best possible way. A stone thrown from the old city, the neighbourhood is full of good restaurants to treat yourself with some delicious and cheap northern food. The ladies who run the business will make sure you ll have all the information you need to have an amazing time in...

My friend and I stayed here for a few nights in July (twin room) and decided to return because we thought it was great. As most of the other reviews say, the owners are lovely and super helpful. They understand what hospitality is meant to be and whilst there are some reviews on here which (rather unfairly) call the staff...
