We booked a deluxe room with breakfast. Hotel first gave us a room with 2 single beds, but quickly changed to a king bed when we complained. Hotel is basically a motel built in a U shape with reception, dinning room and a few rooms closing off the U. The pool is inside the U. Breakfast is a simple / basic buffet with eggs or omelets cooked for you. Staff was friendly, but a little reserved with some language barrier. In general it was OK and if you are looking for a budget hotel will meet your needs.
It was a perfect location and very well connected to the city, site scene, food,7-11 ,atm and all you need as a traveller . the staff is very good and good food but need more choice for vegetarian and if double bed then please do not join beds . its not comfortable .
A hotel worth the money. Courteous service. Spacious rooms. Quietly. Good breakfast service (buffet). Rooms cleaned daily. Unfortunately, despite the assurances in the offer, the rooms do not have balconies, and in some of them you can't even open the window ... Uninvited guests appear in the room - cockroaches, which the service is dealt with immediately and extremely effectively :-).
We stayed here for 3 nights and everything about the stay was just average, at best. The staff was nice and accommodating. However, the rooms are dark and very dated. The shower and parts of the wall were also no longer Standard. The breakfast is quite simple, everyday quite the same and of medium Quality. The location of the hotel is very good. Within short distance there are several temple and other Sightseeing spots due to the hotel's Location within the old town of Chiang Mai. The pool looks very nice. There is also very limited sun at the pool area, which is probably why there are not many people around the pool. Would try somewhere else if I came back to Chiang Mai.
We checked into the hotel at around 11PM at night. The room was ready and we were checked in very quickly. The reception guys helped us pick up our luggage to our room. The room itself (a superior type) was very beautiful- with lightly wooden interiors and pastel blue walls and cups. The toiletries were basic and we did not like them too much, but that did not bother us because we generally prefer our own shampoo and conditioners. There was no toothbrushes, bathroom was a little small but ok. Our bathroom did not have hot water (my mum took a bath in like warm water but I did not get any hot water by 1:30AM when I went to shower). Apparently the pump did not allow hot water into our room. They changed our room next day with hot water so that problem got resolved quickly. The breakfast was excellent for non vegetarians. My mum is a pure vegetarian and the Madame handling breakfast- Mrs Cinchita (I guess that’s her name) was so so kind to get fresh veg noodles and stir fires vegetables specially made for my Mummy. And those too were very scrumptious. There is a 7-11 supermarket bang opp. the hotel. There are a lot of street food and upbeat restaurant options nearby (3-4 mins walking distance). And one down the road, and another one around the corner. So lots of supermarkets around, you get the point. There was less crowd around the time we visited and so the entire town was very calm and quite, along with the hotel. The location was excellent. My mum and I did a free walking tour by following the BigBoys blog online, it is a 5- 6 hour walking tour around 22 sites in the Old Town. The hotel’s location was bang in the centre from all the sites, so we were able to take some frequent breaks back to the hotel (mum needed those). The hotel did have airport taxi services but it was a bit expensive so we took grab cab back to the airport. The hotel staff stored our luggage for a couple of hours. Overall, our experience was superb, mainly because the staff was very kind and helpful.…
