The Pho Place is in a great location in Chinatown. Despite being just a minute from the hustle and bustle of Yaowarat Road, the hotel is an oasis of calm. When we arrived we received a warm welcome from the reception staff. The first room we were allocated (304 I think) had a view of the wall next door. When we asked for a different room we were given the key to 503 to see if we liked that one better. Although not a great view it did have more light so we stuck with that one. The room was spacious, very clean and had everything we needed for a 7 night stay in Bangkok - safe, good WiFi. The bed was super comfy and there was plenty of storage space for everything. At first glance the shower looked like it was going to be rubbish. In fact it was excellent - good water pressure and always lots of hot water. Bliss after a day tramping around the hot city! The room was serviced every day and kept spotlessly clean. Tea and coffee are available in the room, but also there are facilities in the reception area., which guests can use free of charge. We loved staying here, it was such a brilliant location and the staff were so friendly. Special shout out to Mohammed, always smiling and happy to chat with us. There is a small alley to the left as you come out of the hotel entrance, which looks a bit dodgy - don't be put off, it is perfectly safe and the people who live and work there are really friendly! Have no hesitation in recommending this hotel.

The check in was smooth and professional Wifi signal was strong and uninterrupted 5L water dispenser was provided and replaced during housekeeping thus first come first serve Highest floor (level 5) of the longer wing has a better view from the balcony than the lower levels Room was provided with 5 power points, reasonable size fridge and electric thermos flask Instant shower heater was good The room has a balcony and wash area that also serves as the smoking area, inside the room is not allowed Mattress is firm and comfortable Hotel is near affordable local street food for breakfast, lunch and dinner (03 of them on the drive way side). The other through the local houses' alley were two local cafes. Interesting small corner of Yaowaraj Air-con advice to set at 25Deg-C, lower than this the person sleeping closest to the bathroom area would be freezing. The remote control was working but the cold was blasting away. Due to an artificial beam, the cold draft was deflected downwards to the bathroom. Towel rail can hang only one bath towel no provision for the second other than to use the wall hook opposite the rail The shower area and the toilet bowl would be wet during shower as the water was spraying toward the toilet bowl direction. If there is too large a movement, the toilet paper would be getting a good shower as well. The pillow was too soft to give the neck a good support

Stayed at Pho Place for one night. Very basic hotel, fine for a stop over but wouldn’t stay any more than one or two nights. The beds were v uncomfortable and pillows were like bricks. Also the views from the room were not great.

Everything was very clean and as expected. We recommend it specifically for the location: in Chinatown, very close to the main street food spots and not so far from the main temples. The staff is also very helpful and friendly.

- Very close to Chinatown with dozens of options for street food - Very friendly reception girls - New bottles of water were provided every day - Changing of towels and room cleaning was talking place every day - Quiet neighborhood - Coffee machine and free coffee was available in the room - Many bus stations nearby - Small problem in communication with the reception girls as their English wasn't at a very good level. But they were always trying to help. - There was a balcony but nothing to watch as it was looking at a wall - The Wi-Fi was really weak and we couldn't watch anything online

Hotel is very conveniently located near Chinatown and Hua Lamphong train station. Room was spacious and clean, with efficient air conditioning. There was room service every day and complimentary water. All in all very good value for money and great vantage point for Bangkok sightseeing.

Front desk not very helpful (especially the night shift Men). The ladies in the day were better but still not willing to go too far out of their way to help. (Be sure you know where you are going or need to go because they were not very helpful)The best thing about the place was the location of China Town Markets. I would not stay here again.

Greeted by four girls in Muslim clothing, some smiling and others dignified, upon check-in, you will know that you have found a clean place. The rooms are tastefully decorated — not huge, but logically laid out (as there is a stainless steel sink in a counter top on the balcony, in case you need to do laundry). Adding to the cheer are eight LED spot lights in the room (plus three more LEDs in the bathroom), you will never get the dingy feeling as would in most hotels at this price range. Outside is Chinatown, bustling to the point of being hectic, this Pho Place is a quiet haven in a sea of noise, aroma, and colors. Ahhhh ... And when the hotel sells drinks at the same price as 7-11, you know you can sleep well.

We stayed here over 2 nights, and the room was very spacious! There is a balcony with a sink as well. The shower and toilet are in the same area and we found water dripped out of the shower curtains at times. We paid extra to early check-in and the hotel is relatively quiet as it is down an alleyway - the area felt safe even at night. It is located close to Chinatown and 15 minute walk to the train station (although this proved difficult when it was very hot to walk). There is a small tea break room in the lobby where you can purchase limited snacks.
