A small pearl to visit. Amazing place at the river - stunning design and the most lovely-helpful staff. So much love at one place … can only recommend it. We visit as a family to see a more traditional family run boutique hotel. Best we ever did in Bangkok.

This hotel is so charming with traditional Thai style. It's like all the quaintness of the historic building but with power showers and modern essentials included. We felt so at home here with our two children and much preferred to the larger more corporate Bangkok hotel we stayed at previously. This has opened my eyes to staying in family-owned boutique places which I previously thought might be a bit rough round the edges but this place is spotless!! Rooms are gorgeous would recommend the one with the balcony for more space. Food is fantastic breakfast each morning boys had cereal/toast and we had Thai style. The hosts are lovely and their cat Mark was adored by my youngest son. Chilling out along the river just perfect! Will be coming again next time we are in Bangkok!

We had a lovely stay at Siam motif- wish we had more time here. The space is very elegant, with all the accoutrements that we enjoy while traveling, but with an honest and humble old-Bangkok feel. We plan to visit again!

I was the 1st guest after covid-19 months... ( Due to Thai government regulations, the hotel was closed for 2 months ) And during this period they renovated the new room “Porcelain" and I was also the 1st guest for this new room:) I was very lucky to stay over and I had such a great time in the hotel, reading, writing, and most amazingly part; chatting with the owners Maii and Toon. They are so nice and kind, super helpful to share some tips/stories about Bangkok and the hotel. If you are looking for a stylish thai traditional place also mixed fusion elements, also get away from Bangkok city. I strongly recommended here and you can also hangout with Maii's lovely cats. The other best thing about here is the lobby and open spaces for all the guests, it makes me feel like staying at home, and reading besides the river was so quiet and chill. Lastly, I love the breakfast, a toast with some traditional thai food and dessert opens a new day for me! I will definitely come back for sure! Looking forward!

It was just the perfect place to discover Bangkok. Typical, superb decoration within the room and outside. The view was perfect and we loved the little balcony. The owner was so sweet (she played music - traditional Thai instrument- when I suggested it to her) she provided tips on our program, we visited the floating market thanks to her. I would definitely recommend this place and go back!!

After months of research, we chose Siamotif Boutique Hotel instead a very well-known big name hotel right in the center of Bangkok. The reason ? We wanted to experience a real Bangkok with a local owner. 1. Convenient location: This lovely boutique hotel is just 10-15 minutes taxi drive (around US$2-3 depending on traffic) to the Wat Pho, or Grand Place and only around US$7 to the airport. Note: When taxi driver turned in the the alley from the main street and stop at the end of the alley, you will have to walk toward the hotel so when you arrived from the airport, have the driver called the hotel, or call them yourself, someone will come to walk you in. 2. The boutique hotel: Siamotif boutique hotel in real life is exactly as in the pictures posted here, super clean, lovely and outstanding service from the May the owner to the 3 service-persons. 3. Breakfast is very good and very "local". My husband can't eat fish sauce so he asked to substitute with fried egg and bread instead. The portion is rather small so we feel hungry 2 hours later :) A small suggestion to May, the owner: We LOVED LOVED your place, but if you can install towel holders or hooks in the bathroom, it would help a lot. This is the ONLY inconvenient we felt since there were no hooks nor holder for the bath towels and the small face towels.

This is a truly breathtaking place. The wood, the glass, the canal view- it is stunning and just has a magical feel to it. The staff are all so sweet and kind and helpful. They gave us advice on when to take a taxi versus transit and some great suggestions on activities. The room we had was the motif room, which has a loft where the bed is. So unique- I felt like a kid in a fort again. Very comfortable bed and pillows and towels, and sufficient hot water. Tasty breakfast with the most relaxing view of the canal. I loved coming back here feeling calm after a day of chaos in Bangkok. I spent a lot of time in the beanbag chairs on the balcony enjoying the view. The only negative point- it gets a bit loud around 7am from the boats and birds, so if you are a light sleeper bring some earplugs. I need to address what another reviewer said about how this place is only for a certain type of traveller, and how it is very far from attractions. This is just not true. I need to point out that getting a SIM card in Thailand is $6 for 4GB of data, and with this SIM card you can use a fantastic app called Grab, where you can call a car with a pre set fare. For example, it took us about 15 mins to Wat Arun and KhaoSan rd and each trip only cost about 100-150 baht. There is also a BTS sky train stop that just opened 2 mins away which can connect you to literally all of Bangkok without worrying about traffic. From where the taxis pick you up it is a 2 minute walk through a residential neighbourhood where we felt very safe If you are looking for a unique and magical experience- stay here !

Siamotif exceeded our expectations in every way. Mai sent instructions as to how to find the hotel which was really helpful. Our room was delightful. The owner Mai was there to welcome us and couldn’t have been more helpful in making suggestions for good value local transport options (bus / boat/ subway) as well as other sightseeing trips. We really had the best time and would recommend this hotel to anyone seeking a truly authentic experience.

My wife and I stayed at the siamotif hotel for two nights. The hotel is very beautiful and is a unique wooden house building right on the river. Our room was small, but had everything we needed and had a small porch to sit on and look at the canal/river. There is a small common area on the first floor of the hotel if you want to relax and not be in your room. Each morning breakfast the hotel provides and serves you breakfast. They choose the menu but it consisted of yogurt, fruit, toast, an egg of some preparation, a prepared vegetable and coffee/tea. The hotel is away from the busiest area of the city, but we did not find it hard to commute in and explore. The MRT has a new train stop 5 minutes from the hotel on the blue line. This new section of the blue line is only open 10am-4pm everyday while it is in the testing phase (January -April 2020) but made it very easy to hop on the train and get to the Chatuchak market, the royal palace, wat pho, and China town. The majority of the blue line in the city is open much earlier and later everyday. Each ride is around 30 baht. After 4pm you can take the blue line to a stop around 2-3km from the hotel and take a taxi (grab) from there back to the hotel. Overall our stay at siamotif was great. The hotel staff was incredibly friendly and provided a unique hotel experience which was outside the busiest parts of the city. We would recommend for others to stay if you do not want to be in an extremely busy part of town. The hotel arranged for a taxi from the airport for 1000baht, and we chose to use grab to return to the airport (400baht).

We loved our stay at Siamotif so much! We were a bit afraid that it’s quite far from the central activities but we were extremely happy that we ignored this fear. The staff and Maii the owner are super nice, the building is so beautiful, the breakfast is amazing, the view and terrace are breathtaking, the garden is well kept and the rooms are nice. When I come back to Bangkok I will definitely come back to Siamotif; without a doubt.
