Maybe my fault but there was not a washing machine in the apartment (noticed a couple other had them, though).

Nice enough in itself, but location is pretty far away from central Sukhumvit area (Soi Ekkamai is not the same as Ekkamai BTS).

Wifi an issue, too slow.

Got BBC News, some other international channels as well.

Good water pressure in the shower, plenty of hot water.

Nice apartment, clean and friendly staff.
But bed size should be larger.
Location is not fantastic, they provide tuk tuk facility up to nearby BTS station within business hour i.e. 10 am- 5:30 pm.
There is no good restaurant nearby.

This place was so bad we left. It was dirty and looked nothing like the photos. Run down and broken. The bed was so hard it was impossible to sleep and when we asked for more pillows we were charged! We booked a 2 bedroom apartment and when we arrived we were informed that we were in a 2 bedroom with 1 double bed and 1 single. When I let them them know I had requested 2 double beds we were again charged extra! The location is ok as there is a Tuk Tuk regularly heading out on a convenient loop but this is the only redeeming factor of the place. The pool looked nice but i did not use it.

Lovely hotel with clean and modern rooms. There is a lovely pool area, but only 1 sun bed, so would be difficult if busy there.
Everyone was super friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean and modern, with a microwave and kettle. There was also a hob, but no utensils to actually be able to cook anything. The beds were very hard, and the air con very strong and cold.
You could pay for breakfast, but have to go to a place over the Road called Peef. The first time we went for breakfast (served between 8.30 and 10 apparently) they were closed. The hotel called the owner, and when we went back at 11 they were open. Breakfast was ok, took over an hour to do 4 breakfasts though.
There is a free tuk tuk to the sky train station Thong Lor, but it doesn't run between 12-1 due to lunch.
Not a bad location, it is tucked out the way though, and there is no where nearby to eat. I was ill for a day, and all my partner could find were a couple of pot noodles at the 7/11 down the road. Peef opposite was lovely, but so unreliable - the opening hours literally mean nothing..
If you go out and will need to get a taxi back, make sure you have the address on you, as none of the cab drivers we came across knew where it was, and several refused to take us at all

In a bit of a rush to book a place for my trip to Bangkok and having stayed at many small hotels I decided to give this apartment a go which turned out to be both good and bad.

The room we booked was not available so we were given an upgrade to an apartment with two bedrooms. The apartment itself was very clean, spacious but basic. I'm not sure if it was due to the last minute upgrade or if the room normally didn't come with any soaps for the bathroom/kitchen as well as a pan to use on the stove. The next day after we arrived, we presented the front desk with a list of items we would like such as extra toilet paper, a pan for the stove and an extra blanket and they gladly helped to provide all letting us know there would be a small fee for the blanket as we had initially booked for a one bedroom which was fine with us.

The two main issues we had with this place was mosquitos and the location. As there was a large open canal near by, there are mosquitos everywhere! From the rooms to the lobby, to the corridors so we bought mosquito coils to burn at the doors and balcony which got rid of that problem. Secondly the location isn't the most convenient although I should have know having searched it up beforehand.

The residences does have a complementary tuk tuk transfer daily from early morning till 7pm where we can be sent to the nearest BTS station and picked up too. In terms of finding the place with a taxi, drivers tended to have a bit of a problem and we had to guide them once we were near.

The area however that the residences is located is extremely safe despite the roads being dark at night due to the high amount of embassies around and also a 10 minute walk out to the main streets and there are lots of small bars, restaurants and lots of japanese eateries.

We never used the small pool or any other services while at the residences. It was nice to have an apartment instead of just a room, however I wouldn't recommend this place unless you're okay with quite a distance of travelling to get to public transport everyday and don't mind cabbing back at night. For those with families with young and elderly, don't stay here as it would be too much of a hassle but if you don't mind a basic apartment and getting some bug spray, it is a pleasant residence with very helpful and attentive staff.

We stayed here for 2 nights when we arrived in Bangkok (19th, 20th August). We picked the hotel as it stated on trip advisor (and others) that it was close to sights/restaurants/bars etc..

When we got here, we were put off by the fact it's down a "shanti-town" back street and the views from the hotel room are of "shanti-town" shacks. This is off putting and could be unnerving for some people!

Everything else however was great! The room was very clean, the staff were very attentive! We automatically got an upgrade on arrival by very friendly attentive staff! There is a free shuttle tuk-tuk service to the local rail stations etc..

There's working air conditioning, television, free wifi with good speeds/connection & hot showers! Good value for money but rubbish views & first impression due to shanti town appearance.

There's also a pool, a gym & a safe for resident use!

Positive site- clean and spacious room, the front desk crew are attentive and attend to guest's request.

Need for improvement- Suite room comes with microwave, plates. But cutlery only provide on next day, not provide any washing detergent and table cloth. I rated this property poor mainly because of the attitude from one of the tuk tuk driver. Is free shuttle from the hotel but we experienced dangerous driving and bad attitude from the driver although still before the business hour and we paid tip!!! my parents was terrified... Front desk only offer apology and seem do nothing with it.

Other thing to consider, location, when you book this hotel as pretty distance away from BTS station or famous eatery site in Thong lor. Don't ever rely too much on their shuttle service. Taxi to the hotel also took very much of the time to reach due to massive jam along the Ekkamai road. (unless they know to use Soi Sukhumvit 55 road to turn in).

The Park19 Residence rooms are a decent size, comfortable beds, good wifi. The TV channels are all Thai & televisions need to be updated. The showers, bathroom are good, decent gym, small but clean & pool is very clean. The tuk tuk service is excellent & will take you where you like in the surrounding areas as well as to the BTS, The tuk tuk dropped me off t the Coffee club in Thong lo - which is great place for breakfast & Bar Tuba is a 5 minute walk away. The staff are excellent. Definately a place to consider & close to everything in Thong lo & EKamai

breakfast options?
Answer from Blackmentos94

Hi Stuart, I don't recall there being a breakfast option as the units are apartments with a small kitchenette that comes with a stove and fridge. There are plenty of small local eateries around the main streets about a 10 minute walk away from this place. However if you are looking for a convenient place to stay that is easy to get the the BTS, this is not a good option.
