This is my 3rd stay at the hotel. The first one was 2018, 2020 for the second and the last was 09/2021 (this review). Everything was nice the food still taste good. All the services was superb. Hope the hotel will keep it this way. The dinner seafood buffet was pretty impressive.

Had a relax day here. The service overall is excellent. this was my 4th time stays here, the front staff who check me in and out was very supportive, always offer help and remind me about updating parking card. The pool staff Mr. Keng was really helpful, we ordered pizza from the restaurant downstairs and brought to eat near the pool, before we got there, he already setup a plate with cutlery and offered glass with ice for our drink too which was really thoughtful. And we were very happy that restaurant opens for breakfast during our stay. Anyway, the staff who was in front of the restaurant was a bit unfamiliar with how to welcome guest (probably because it hasn’t operated quite a while…?) and we ordered room service with 3 dishes, it served fast but only provided us one cutlery set…we had to call to ask one more. The bill comes a bit confusing as it charged 100 Baht more from what we calculated from the Menu (was confusing but not really a big deal though) And we used credit voucher to pay some part of the bill, the staff seems hesitate to take it and asked us back that if we informed anyone that we were going to use voucher. So I could recommend if there’s some condition with voucher, hotel should let guest know during check in would be great. But generally I really like the atmosphere of the hotel and definitely will come back again and again.

I have had the pleasure to stay again at the Pullman Bangkok king Power. Sadly due to the Covid-19 restriction all restaurants and buffets were closed. But indeed, having the ABF served in the room was amazing, I would like express my sincere gratitude to Khun Kevin and Khun Music at the Front Desk of the Pullman King Power for being so attentive and professional. The hotel follow strict Covid-19 protocol and we feel safe during our stay. I highly recommended this hotel " an oasis of calm " in Bangkok.

I never stayed at Pullman Bangkok King Power in the past because the location is not the most convenient and because I often suspected I would not get a suite upgrade as it’s not the most generous hotel for upgrades to Accor Diamond guests so I usually preferred to stay at hotels with more reliable upgrades. However at this point in time with very low hotel occupancy I thought the time was right to give it a try. My overall takeaway is that this Pullman is quite upscale and posh, in fact considerably more so than Pullman G. Pullman KP felt more business-like and in fact I wonder why Pullman KP is not a Sofitel brand hotel because other than location, Pullman KP can stack up well against Sofitel Sukhumvit is almost all regards and can be considered luxury rather than premium. I booked the lowest room type (superior) and upon check-in I was told I was upgraded one category to a deluxe room, not even premium deluxe which is below the suites. After some discussion about how their competitors upgrade far more liberally at the moment, I finally received a suite upgrade so the end result was good, but if during rock bottom occupancy their natural inclination is to only upgrade one category then it’s safe to say that in normal circumstances it is probably less likely we can get a suite at this hotel which is unfortunate. The room itself looked nice and obviously renovated not a long time ago. The hardware was great, I liked the hardwood floors and the room had decent furniture; it was a proper suite with a sliding door which could separate the living room from the bedroom. Unlike some hotel suites unfortunately this one did not have 1.5 bath, it only had one main bathroom with a stand-alone shower and a separate bathtub. The bathroom amenities were CO Bigelow – much better than the no-name unmarked black bottles at Pullman G. There was also a pillow menu available combined with the air conditioning which worked well to ensure a good night of sleep. The room also had other amenities such as a vase with freshly cut flowers, a welcome gift of fruits and chocolates, and because the hotel gym is closed due to covid they left a yoga mat and small dumbbells in the room for guest use. They also provided one piece of ironing per stay. Overall I thought the room was far nicer than the one at Pullman G, and it also easily beat the suites at the two MGallery hotels in Bangkok (Muse + VIE) where I stayed before. I consider Pullman KP more in the league of Sofitel Sukhumvit than the lower brands. Unfortunately the executive lounge was closed due to covid but the hotel did not cut back on the benefits and instead provided a reasonable alternative. During the day guests could go to the Junction restaurant to get soft drinks, and for happy hour 5-7pm they brought a food tray to the room in addition to 2 wine glasses per guest. This is in contrast with some other hotels who currently use the government ban on alcohol in restaurants as a reason to cut the benefits of loyalty elite status. Breakfast was entirely a la carte with a decent menu which included seafood options rather than only cheaper protein types. Service was good during the stay and I noticed there were a lot of staff available on the property so they had not cut staffing as much as other hotels. Wifi was fast with speeds of 70-90 Mbps however I had disconnections several times per day and also my phone could not connect to wifi at all from the restaurant during breakfast. The problems were not widespread because usually my phone would disconnect at different times than my laptop. A good business hotel should try their utmost to avoid wifi issues, for me it’s almost a deal killer and should be an easy fix. Overall I really liked the suite, but what would hold me back from staying there again is the situation with upgrades. Any hotel which normally limits elites of loyalty programs to upgrades of +1 might not be the best fit to maximize value. For guests Accor Gold or below (not Diamond or Platinum) and who do not mind the location, then Pullman King Power is a solid choice if they fix their wifi.

FO (Men) wasn't helpful during we walk to the lift not even ask to help with 5 bags and one laptop in 2 hands or even press any button or card in the lift till I ask him to help me to do it. Room wasn't cleaned and was still dusty. Smelly toilet. HK was rude, When I check in I made request for extra bathroom amenities but nothing in the room. Then, when I was out to see my friend I ask HK whom clean the next to me for extra bathrooms amenities, she won’t smile, show dissatisfaction to me and walk back to the room without any acknowledge. After I turn back to the lift she bang a noise on trolley. Seem welcome a person with suit and tie than t-shirt and jeans. This will be first and last for me.
