I love staying in Thonglor and my client booked me here for four days. Perfect. Very comfortable bed and room. Highly professional and kind staff. Koi at the front desk made me feel at home and well cared for. I will stay here again.

Stayed there recently for a week visiting expat family
The hotel is new and vibrantly decorated
It is probably a three and half star hotel - no fancy facilities (no pool) but perfectly adequate for a great location, comfortable and clean bed - all at a very reasonable price
The location is great being in the heart of vibrant Thong Lo and all its restaurants and bars - opposite Iron Fairies - and only a quick walk (15 mins ?) to the BTS - or a very short taxi ride
The rooms are spacious and quiet and are well maintained daily
Breakfast is limited to choice of 3 Sets - but adequate when it is included in the already low room price
Staff were all very helpful and polite
Overall highly recommended for its location, price and comfortable facilities

We recently stayed at the 'One One' hotel, which is situated in Thonglor, on Sukhumvit Soi 55.

This was our second stay here and we were again very pleased with our choice. The Hotel is quite new and the rooms are very comfortable with Flat screen Cable TV and modern bathrooms, with a good sized shower. For those of us that drive, there is a car park at the rear of the Hotel.

The staff are very friendly and attentive. In fact, the service in general is excellent. Actually, I was looking to buy something which the staff said wasn't in the area, so the bell boy offered to take me on his motorbike to somewhere he thought would have what I wanted.

Breakfast is ' A La Carte', rather than buffet style, and is of a good standard. The dining room is peaceful, comfortable and relaxing, something I appreciate early in the morning. Our room was at the rear of the hotel, so was very quiet. I do not know how noisy or otherwise the rooms are facing the main road.

Around Thonglor are numerous decent restaurants and it's a short taxi ride to the BTS Skytrain, which connects all of Sukhumvit's main areas. There is a fashionable small shopping centre just to the left as you leave the front door of the Hotel (J Avenue), which has an excellent Supermarket, a choice of restaurants, a pharmacy and some 'boutique' shops.

This is an excellent choice for a short 'in town' stay. For tourists looking for big swimming pools and many facilities, although good, the One one is probably not the best option.

This is a quality property at a very reasonable price; we will stay here again when we next visit Bangkok.

Room Tip: For a quiet room, the back of the hotel would be preferable, although there is no view to speak of

Booked this hotel for a one night transit in BKK, as the area seemed to be cool and the hotel looked fine from the pictures - modern, stylish and clean.

The hotel is indeed ok looking, although rooms are very standard and beds not so great. What makes me think anyway that I would never get back is the service. It was awful and breakfast was not good at all ( had to give my dish back as it came with hair!). Also, at the check-out they tried to charge for cleaning a towel that I had to put on the floor, as the shower was broken and was pouring water all over in the bathroom. Not a good experience.

Was our 1st time in Bangkok. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Food is good and tasty. Laundry service for reasonable price. Some noise from the street, but not too much. Cleaning service was perfect. They pay a lot of attention to the clients. Nit very close to the center, but the Sky Train isn't too far and you have many restaurants with the free places and good massage salons near the hotel.

We was more than satisfied with our choice.

This hotel is located on Soi Thonglor, around 15 minutes walk to the BTS station Thong Lor. The hotel is brand new with nice interior decoration, fusion of different styles. The rooms are large and very comfortable. Breakfast is quite nice with possibilities to choose local dishes or western ones. Internet is fast and reliable. Only downturn is that there were no international channels available beside CNN. The location of the hotel is not great if you need to travel to other areas of Bangkok as the BTS is quite far. However, it is ideal if you need to stay in the Thong Lor district.

I stayed in the One One Hotel for a bit more than a month during my business.
Pros:
*Great location with variety of restaurants, cafés and nightlife options nearby.
*Friendly staff who speaks acceptable English (not the cleaning staff, though). PS! Remember the "do not disturb" button besides the door.
*Beakfast available for 200THB - food was ok.
*Laundry service at acceptable price (takes two days).
*No traffic noise (my room was not facing Sukhumvit 55).

Cons:
*10+ min walk to/from the BTS
*Room cleaning a bit inconsistent at times. Not a big issue, though.
*The plumbing in the building is noisy and not well isolated. Every time somebody flushed their toilets above my floor (I lived on the 5th out of 7) it made a loud noise of water falling down through the system and there was smell of sewage after the neighbors had flushed (probably from floor traps). Flushing my own toilet seemed to help to get rid of the smell.
*The sink was sutck, so I needed to remove the sink trap to get the water to go away.
*Hot water pressure and temperature were low during my whole stay.
*Hearing the bing-sound of elevators arriving to your floor was annoying in the beginning, but I got used to it after a while.
*Power stoppages once in a while (lastning 1min)
*The restaurant burger was overpriced and not tasty.
*Be patient when checking out and paying the bills.

All in all I would recommend the hotel. It's probably hard to find a similar quality hotel for this price in Thonglor.

Stayed 3 times and on each visit received first cass service from check in, restaurant and house keeping.

Its a sort of boutique hotel which is in a great location, some good restaurants and bars outside and not too far by taxi from the aiport or big shopping malls. The staff always smiling and professional, its a shame it never looks busy but not complaining as hotel is quiet.

Restaurant and room service menu good value and well cooked, good selection of cold beers too!

We spent 4 nights at this lovely hotel and we had a really good time there. Requested an early check in upon arrival and that was done in no time. The receptionist and door men were super accommodating and helpful. The room was spacious and super clean with nice king size bed and big LCD screen TV. Clean toilet made our stay more pleasant too. Moreover, we found out that the hotel was just right next to J Avenue (one of the most popular dining spots in Thonglor). We couldn't rave enough about this hotel. We just simply love it.
