We booked this hotel on the basis of location and travellers' reviews. In a nutshell, the location is very central to the whole Sukhumvit road area with nearby Skytrain and underground trains walking distance, and yet remains quiet. Our room was of adequate size, the complementary breakfast ensured a quick start to the daily program and we felt very much at home in the hotel environment. An added bonus was the help given by the owner in organising our daily trips, which saved travel time and enriched our original planned itinerary. The staff were well organised and friendly. All in all a very satisfying experience at a more than acceptable price

Very nice, small, familiar hotel in a quiet corner. The hosts are super nice and helpful. You can reach Sukhumvit in just a few steps and still not hear any of the noise of the city. BTS and MRT can be reached in a few minutes. The house is decorated in a lovely Thai style.

Located at the end of a short but quiet lane off busy Sukhumvit Road this botique inn is a rare find. Restaurants (even for vegetarians there are at least four) and other services are within easy walking distance.
From the moment you arrive to the moment you leave the staff at this little hotel are looking out for you. Kevin the english manager is an absolute gem and is always ready to help, nothing is any trouble. The large english style mugs of tea were a lifesaver for my wife.
The rooms are quiet and spotless with kingsized beds (shower in bathroom) or two double beds (shower over a large bath).
Attention to detail with furnishings and creature comforts is noticeable and everthing works as it should.
Without reservation we can recommend the Bann Sukhumvit Inn as a value for money place to stay in Bangkok

Great location near metro station Sukhumvit and BTS station Asok which made it easy to navigate around Bangkok and to and from the airport. Mattresses were firm, basic breakfast provided with proper espresso coffee. The only thing that needs improving is the information on how to find it the first time. You turn right at the first lane off soi 20 (at the sports bar), then left and it's right at the end. There is a sign just not easy to see. A map with landmarks would make finding it much easier!

If you are tired of huge, impersonal hotels and are looking for a quiet, charming and spotless hotel in Bangkok then you should try the BAAN SUKHUMVIT. It is conveniently located (within walking distance) near the Phom Prong BTS station (exit 6). They serve an excellent american style breakfast, they have mini-bar with normal prices. It is off Sukhumvit road so you can get a good nice sleep.

I had the pleasure of staying at Baan Sukhumvit for two months this year. I have stayed in many types of hotels in Bangkok from 5 star to 3 star and for the price, nothing compares to Baan Sukhumvit.

You are treated like family the moment you arrive. You will get as much or as little attention as you like. All you have to do is ask and you will get whatever you need, whenever you need it. The service exceeded all of my expectations.

I have stayed at many five star hotels around the world and can say without question that Baan Sukhumvit knows how to treat you like are staying at The Ritz.

The rooms were immaculate and very quiet. Also, the location is ideal as it sits right smack in the middle of Bangkok.

Overall, it was the best stay I have ever had anywhere in the world. I can guarantee you will not be disappointed.

If you prefer a friendly atmosphere, quiet and peaceful place, Baan Sukhumvit soi 20 is a good choice to stay in Bangkok. The hotel is located in a small alley near Soi Sukhumvit 20, just a couple minutes from sky train and subway stations. As we discuss with many guests, most of them are returned visitors because staffs, especially Kevin, hotel’s manager, are very friendly and helpful. The price is also reasonable for the room. It’s a perfect place to stay in Bangkok.

We always stay at Baan Sukhumvit Inn Soi 18 or 20 whenever we are in Bangkok for a few days as both hotels are clean, friendly and convenient for airport, shopping and sightseeing: a short stroll from Asok station. The rooms are on the small side but tastefully decorated and have everything you need. The friendly staff serve a good English breakfast. Kevin, the English manager, is usually on hand to give good advice on where to eat, how to get around and where to get the best deals. Thanks Kevin –I love my new Samsung Galaxy tablet! We look forward to seeing you again on our next visit.

Small, clean hotel, friendly staff - a bit away from the main tourist attractions, but in a nice (but busy) area, nonetheless. Rooms are a good size with comfy bed and spotless ensuite bathroom. Breakfast is good (and healthy) and you could sit there all morning drinking the fabulous coffee in the air-con. The owner has lived here for years and is always willing to help you plan your day, places to eat or drink or assist with booking tickets etc. This is a godsend in a place as huge and confusing as BKK. Print the map from the website as there is a sister hotel 2 minutes walk away and the taxi may drop you at the wrong one before you realise. Do not take taxis from inside the airport terminal (the ones you book outside are much cheaper).

I had made a decision to go to BKK within a few days which I did not have much time to plan my trip and book a hotel. It was not easy to find a good rate hotel which provides a high standard facilities and services. I have finally found Baan Sukhumvit accidently by the internet search. I fell in love with the unique thai style decoration when i saw the website. I had a really good time at Baan Sukhumvit Inn as if it was my own place. It was more than I expected. The staffs were extremely friendly and helpful. The room was very clean and comfortable. The hotel is located in the city, near the skytrain and underground systems and the Emporium Department Store. Shops and restaurants are also very closed. Even though the hotel is on the Sukhumvit bussiness area road, I have found this place magically peaceful and attractive.Baan Sukhumvit absolutely made my stay in BKK pleasant and enjoyable. I will definitely choose this hotel for my next stay in BKK.
