We booked this hotel on the basis of location and travellers' reviews. In a nutshell, the location is very central to the whole Sukhumvit road area with nearby Skytrain and underground trains walking distance, and yet remains quiet. Our room was of adequate size, the complementary breakfast ensured a quick start to the daily program and we felt very much at home in the hotel environment. An added bonus was the help given by the owner in organising our daily trips, which saved travel time and enriched our original planned itinerary. The staff were well organised and friendly. All in all a very satisfying experience at a more than acceptable price
I usually stay in soi 18 when I am in Bangkok at the Rembrandt, for a change I decided to give the baan a try. I was pleased with my choice. It is a small hotel but the location is great. The hotel is clean and comfortable and the free breakfast is fine. Probably the best thing about this hotel is the staff, nothing is too much trouble. I have stayed here three times in the past month or so and have no complaints.
The hotel was very nice and very comfortable . The stuff was very helpful. I want to mention especially khun Pipe the Bell boy , who make all efforts even to drive on motorbike to return my bag which I forgot at the hotel . Thank you khun Pipe Thanks for all the lounge team which make all very smoothly and simple . I will definitely come to this hotel again.
I came to Bangkok solo. This hotel is located right off of Sukhumvit Road. It’s close to the Asok BTS line and Sukhumvit MRT I found the hotel dated Cleanliness was not great- found a number of stray hairs in my room Bathroom old and moldy Mosquitoes in the room- staff were handy and assisted my with repellent beds very hard Decent set breakfast Quite a small hotel Great location but I wouldn't stay again.
I came to Bangkok solo. This hotel is located right off of Sukhumvit Road. It’s close to the Asok BTS line and Sukhumvit MRT. The bed was super comfy for me. As another reviewer said, the bathrooms are a bit dated. If you don’t plan to spend a lot of time in your room, it’s a great low cost option. The staff was great and helpful on places to go. Breakfast was decent too. The hotel is close to Soi Cowboy and Soi 23. If you want to go to the clubs (Route66, Onyx, Insanity, or Levels) they are a short 10-15 minute cab ride. Best way to hail a cab is to go to one of the nearby larger hotels as for some reason it’s not easy to find you with Google maps.
The Baan sukhumvit soi 20 Hotel is a small boutique hotel located off soi 20 the first street on your right as you enter soi 20 tucked away at the end of a lane.... A bit hard to find at first. The room we had was small but comfortable. The bathroom is in need of an update as it is starting to look a bit tired and worn. Breakfast is from a set menu which is quite good. Staff are friendly and helpful. Location is good it's close to BTS and Terminal 21 shopping centre.
A good place to stay! The owner is super friendly and helpful. Daily fresh breakfast made as you order it. The rooms are not big but decent and with all you need (fridge, hairdryer, safe...) Good wifi (free).
I stay here or the sister hotel at Soi 18 and love it. Very convenient to transportation. Great nearby street food and massage places. Very helpful staff and super nice rooms but no over the top. Breakfast is excellent. Highly recommended.
Small guest house style hotel Had room 10 on top floor 5th with lift. Nice view towards high rises and SkyTrain. Can't fault friendliness of staff as well as convenience to main road and SkyTrain. Plenty to keep you occupied in nearby places including bars. Fridge in room handy for storage of 7eleven things . Can recommend the walk to Asoke station and then to Terminal 21 which has many stores and places to eat. So much to do and see in this vibrant city. Breakfast suited me as not really into buffet type ones in big hotels. You just have a limited choice which is perfect.
This was my first stay at the hotel. A little difficult to find from the map supplied, but once you know it’s location, it couldn’t be easier. Tip for travellers- enter the small Soi 20-1, no street sign but great burger bar at the entrance to the Soi with Sukhumvit Road called “For fits sake”. Hotel about 50m up this Soi. ( The Soi is opposite side of Sukhumvit Road from the Radisson Blu). Good location, plenty of eating and drinking places on Soi’s 18&20. Close to Skytrain and MRT station at Adok. First class accommodation, spotlessly clean and good decor. Elevator but no car parking. Excellent value for money. Computer and printer aavailable in lounge area downstairs- great for printing off boarding passes. I will stay here on future visits.
