It is very impressive little hotel. With just 1,000 THB or less, you can stay in and breakfast included. Breakfast was not that good by the way, but acceptable. I have only one problem was the A/C in room 706 was making noise the whole time. It sounded like a motorcycle race.

Being a frequent traveller to Thailand with my family, at first, I was a bit hesitant to book this place seeing the rates they were offering. However I took the chance and am glad I did so.
Book for 4 nights and pay for 3 is a steal. 900B a room for 2 with b/fast is a great deal. The rooms are not that huge but quite cute. The bathroom is well equipped with a bathtub. Breakfast is pretty good. The location is great, just a 40B tuktuk ride to the heart of the city. The cab and tuj tuk drivers that are there don't overcharge. Mimi the guy at the travel counter is very helpful in arranging tours and taxis. Real value for money. Worth booking.

Review for Bangkok City Suite Hotel

First thing, Bangkok City Suite is different from Bangkok City Hotel so I suggest mastering the exact street/location coz it will sum up your payment in the metered taxi (Take Note: other drivers will take advantage also).
The Hotel has 8 Floors with 168 rooms and we stayed in Two Twin Rooms for Three Nights with:

1. Well well-appointed rooms (spacious enough)
2. Keycard locks (and safety box inside the room)
3. Telephone and Air conditioners (Working well on our entire stay)
4. Refrigerators (No Minibar Set-up; only complimentary water)
5. Satellite TV channels (Only limited International English Channel which is not a problem everytime I have a trip)
6. Bathroom (with bath tub which also serves as the shower room, hair blower, hot and cold water and standard hotel amenity set-up; only complaint is the draining of water in the sink faucet)
7. Complimentary daily breakfast (with only similar selections daily in the main course but have to commend that the food tastes good)
8. Fitness room in the 5th floor (For Free; but due to our hectic schedule we haven’t visited the area)
9. two (2) elevators
10. SERVICE (One thing is lacking in this hotel even they provide responses to all your queries. I can’t feel the warmness of the staff to the guests. Perhaps, you don’t need to be a Five (5) Star Hotel to greet your guest a Good Morning or even just give a sweet smile).
Nevertheless, nothing big deal happens to ruin our vacation so I will still give a great rate for Bangkok City Suite. I will still recommend it to my friends but please make your guest special as if they just not staying in your hotel to sleep and eat. Make them feel like it’s their home.

I stayed for 2 nights and I wish I had chosen somewhere else over this place.

The location doesn't seem too convenient and the taxi drivers weren't too sure where the hotel was when you needed to get back.

The sheets weren't the cleanest and there seemed to be a little ant problem in the room which wasn't great....

The air con didn't seem to work during sleeping hours and was ridiculously loud the whole time it was switched on.

I would avoid this place and pay just a little bit extra to go somewhere that's a bit more decent,

A nice small hotel and worth the money paid for. This is located in Yommrat walking distance to the MBK shoping mall and the Pantip Plaza, the place for computere and accesories. The Front offfice staff is very polite, friendly and helpful. The price includes breakfast which is good resonable. The rooms are small but clean and comfortable. I stayed in a deluxe room and this room has a computer, TV, hair dyer, bath tub, mini bar, good air conditioner ( noiseless) and clean towels. You get all this for less than 1000 Bhat! Try this hotel, you will not regret!

A Thai friend recommended this hotel to me. I always stay there when I'm in Bkk. Will stay there again on my next trips to Bkk.

900 THB/night for a double room. Breakfast included, 24 hours free Wifi. Safety Deposit Box, Keycard locks, Air conditioners, Refrigerators, Free movie channels and satellite TV channels, Hot Shower, Bath tub.

Location: 900 m from Ratchatewi BTS (skytrain) station. 20 mins walk. Exit the hotel, go left on Thanon (road) Petchaburi, at the junction with Thanon Phaya Thai, go right and there you'll see the stairs of the BTS station. Siam is only 1 station away.

If you continue walking all the way down Petchaburi road, after 2 kms you will pass Pantip Plaza (IT shopping mall), The Platinum Fashion Mall and Pratunam Market. If you can stand the Bkk heat that is.......

I'm not the kind of person who love to write a comment on the web, but we (me & my friends) are very impressed with this hotel. We have just returned from our intense shopping trip from Guangzhou & Hongkong, when we arrived at Bangkok that Friday night. We have booked our hotel through the internet via Bangkok City Suite website (www.bangkoksuite.com). We booked 2 rooms 4D/3N and a round trip airport transfer at the price of THB 5,600 (a really good price....).
The driver very polite and helpful, the reception officers are quite
fluent in their English, the facilities very good ( there are self coin
laundry machines - only 20THB per usage & a dryer - very helpful ; there's also 30 minutes free Internet ), the rooms are clean, nice, cozy, the bed really good, the bathrooms clean and nice, and the price quite low but the services really good.
A nice, new and clean 3-star hotel with the price of a regular hotel in the heart of Bangkok (near Pratunam).
The meal is good, the price is also good (low price) including for the rooms service.
Overall: really worth to stay in. New, clean, practical, complete
facilities and a very low price.
Very highly recommended...

I travelled overseas to Bangkok Thailand last month with my brother and our parents together with my Dad's brother and his wife. We arrived almost midnight and our preferred hotel is fully booked. So we looked around and checked in at Bangkok City Suite in which we stayed for four nights and we added some amount of money so we can have our breakfast buffet. They have wifi but they don't have a swimming pool and available room that can occupy the six of us (or even for 4 persons ) so we got three rooms( 1 twin room for me and my bro, 2 double occupany room for our parents and for my Aunt and Uncle ) . Each room has its own TV, Airconditioning unit, a safe for valuables, Phone, Fridge, and toilet and bath. Let me start first with the TV, now this I think is the part of the room that my brother likes about! Its because our TV is also a desktop PC with the huge size of the flat screen monitor. Unlike the other 2 rooms, its just a normal TV. The airconditioning unit is like a split type that doesnt have a remote so you have to stand in order to change the temperature., a phone that you can use to call room to room. Like the normal, one pillow and one blanket for each bed for twin rooms. Two pillows and a blanket for double room.

As for the fridge, they provide 2 bottled water (0.6 liters each, I think thats about 600ML) per day, 2 ice cubes trays. You can request for an airpot at the lobby if you want hot water. And for the toilet, the hotel provides towels, tissues, a blower, 2 soaps with the size that any hotel usually gives, a shower gel, shampoo and shower cap and thats it! They dont even provide toothbrush, comb, shave. Good thing we brought our own toothbrushes. It has a bath tub with a shower curtain AND I wonder when was the last time they cleaned the shower curtain? It has mildew on it! For the price of 900Baht per night (twin/double occupancy room) what do we expect?!

And oh, did I mentioned about the "safe"? Yes! Each room has a safety deposit box in which you can set your own combination so you can keep your valuables inside (in which I dont trust after what happened)

There's two things we disliked about Bangkok City Suite (well aside for the mildew-y shower curtain) first, they dont have a shifting staff for you to call to make up the room especially for unexpected occurences.

Something quite fishy happened during our stay on the 3rd day, my father requested for their room to be cleaned while we are away shopping. My dad clearly remembered that he left his Dolce and Gabbana sunglass on top of the table near the door adjacent to the bathroom. When we get back at the hotel, his sunnies were missing where he left it. I told him to call the lobby because he requested to clean his room up. He did and reported that his sunglass was missing. They returned my Dad's sunglass! Now this surprised me- the room attendant said it was "mixed" on the bed with the sheets. Clearly that was just an alibi!

I dont know about hotel procedures but I think its a common sense to check everything on the sheets, under the pillow etc. just to make sure nothings "mix"with them. They dont even have the vigilance to offer you anything just to make up for their negligence.. as if nothing happened. As a foreigner, or "just a customer" I think it is important for any business establishment to keep your customer satisfied at any case or situation that needs it the most. Impressions lasts especially if you are offering a comfortable place to stay.

Like the title says it's a nice place and the service is good.
Stayed there 4 or 5 times when in Bangkok.
It is a Buget Hotel on the same way that Premier Inn is in the UK.
All rooms have Air Con and bath with shower over
B/feast is included in the price. Buffet style
Mainly Thai food but fried eggs and toast was OK for me.
It is not in the centre of Bangkok but it is in a good location and Meter Taxis pass the door every min. Price for the room 2 People was 1000 Baht per night. in 2010.
For todays rate check on the web
