I had a great experience at Beat Hotel. Front reception service was always good & helpful. Changed my room immediately when I found the safe box wasn’t working. Totally love the quirky decor! Room was clean. However, there was a musty smell when I first moved in probably due to the drop in tourist arrivals since the pandemic. The location is good- close to the BTS station and there’s a 7-11 right in front. Would definitely stay again next time I am in Bangkok.

I stayed at The Beat Hotel over NYE and had a pleasant experience. The room was decorated in a nice artsy style. Not too gaudy or weird. Everything was clean and comfortable.

The location is great. A lot of food at the W District just outside. 7-11, a nice massage shop and nail salon across the courtyard.

I found the staff to be friendly and kind.

Lovely stay at the Beat hotel. Rooms and hotel spaces are nice, well maintained and very clean. Good breakfast as well. Location is also good, next to the BTS line and a nice food market. And staff are incredibly nice and helpful, highly recommended

I chose this hotel because i love painting. The rooms have different theme which were interesting, we like the design and took many photos. The lobby has some nice painting and artwork, and there were sculptures outside the hotel. However, I had a bad stay during my one day stay ( luckily it's just one day)!

There was a constant "dut---dut' sound from some kind of machine throughout the stay, all night long, we didn't sleep well because the noise was very annoying. Also, the A/C took long time to cool. No hairdryer ( available upon request but why??? hairdryer is essential for every hotel!) Corridor no A/C. Toilet roll left half and finished at first day without replacement. The shower couldn't meet a balance temperature, sometimes its too hot sometimes its too cold.

Day 2: We went down to their kitchen just beside lobby, to have our pre-booked breakfast during checked in. However, we waited for 20 mins without being served. then only a girl came to ask:" Breakfast??'' IF NOT? It was quite unbearable. 10 mins later, the girl handed us a menu and confirmed our order again, as if we haven't ordered anything. Then, she took our breakfast from other guests' table. The breakfast was very simple, one egg, one sausage, one bacon.....DUH! Anyway, we have lost appetite to eat and we head out to cafe for another round of bfast.

We strongly don't recommend this hotel and will not return. One night SGD 100, we can have better hotel than this!

I've stayed at hotels around the world, and usually try to highlight the positive traits of each property I stay in. But at Beat Hotel, I found this a Herculean task. The hotel management must believe that less is more:

-No air conditioning in common corridors
-No hairdryer in rooms
-Little product knowledge among staff at reception (they could not distinguish a junior suite from a regular room, and had no idea that their website hawked free minibar for junior suite guests)
-Minibar was really mini with just a few cans of soda
-Safe was even more mini; barely enough room for a tablet, much less a laptop
-Breakfast was abysmal; the most substantive item was a plain white bread (nope, I'm not kidding)
-No juice at breakfast "buffet" either -- just plain water, coffee, or tea
-No reading lights in room
-No nightstand
-Light switches are almost on the opposite side of the room across from the bed (if you like groping in darkness, this could be fun)
-No soap dish and no place to place the tiny slide of soap given
-No glass to rinse the mouth in the bathroom
-Terrible, cheap pillows
-Queen sized bed is really two single sized mattresses pushed together
-Glacial internet speed
-Poor drainage in bathroom shower
-Tiny TV with poor resolution
-Very few international channels
-No international news channel
-If you request for late checkout, the most they'll do is a miserable 1-hour, even though the hotel is practically empty

The only plus point of the Beat Hotel Bangkok is that it's near the BTS. But, there are numerous properties that can lay claim to transport propinquity too. Hence, avoid Beat Hotel Bangkok.

I love this area of Bangkok (Phra Kanong), and the Beat Hotel makes exploring it easy and fun. The lobby of the hotel is great and the rooms are big and clean with great designs.

The hotel is currently in soft-opening mode, so I will mention a few small negatives that I would not necessarily include otherwise. Soft-opening means they are still making changes, so it's a good time to mention them.

1. Pillows are hard and fat - They give you plenty of pillows but maybe one fat and one squishy would be a small easy change

2. Top floor rooms get super hot (especially this time of year). They cool down with the air-con, but I would recommend staying on a lower floor. Ideally, insulation in the roof would make the problem go away completely.

3. Sloooooow drains - water pools when showering (a LOT)

when we checked in, the hotel amazed us!!
every corner is nice and good for photo-taking.
According to the official website, all rooms are in different style design.
our room is no. 313, it is natural style which i love it so much!
the artistic cushion is so cute!
room is bright and comfortable.

the staffs (receptionist, restaurant, even house-keeping ladies) are very friendly, always keep smiling.
as we were quit rush when check out. the staff help to call taxi and arrange check out quickly.

Location: just 5mins walk to BTS Phra Khanong E8 exit 3. some massage nearby.
the hotel is inside W-distict, in this area there is restaurant, beer corner, art gallery and small night martet.

breakfast: not buffet, but you can select the menu when you check in (american style, congee in thai style...) and serve with coffee, toast (with jams), fruit. it is enough.
And the restuarant - Melting pot is spacious, well decorated with art peice.

Swim pool/ fitness: need to go the condo opposite the hotel. it is located on 6th floor. pool is nice with infinly style. (remember to ask for towel at hotel reception before you go. no towel provide at the pool.)

Went here to have lunch. Food was tasty but a cockroach running around on my table kept interrupting me. Told the staff. They didn't seem to care. The lady at the cashier said "I am sorry". That was it.

I stayed in Beat Hotel Bangkok earlier this month. The Hotel is about 5 minutes walk from Phra Khanong BTS Station. Although far away from places like Siam, Thonglor is just 2 stops away.
W Market (Night Market with lots of food) is at the hotel's vicinity as well as a convenience store. Staff were all friendly and helpful. The hotel itself is full of urban art, edgy with hipster vibe, which is one of the plus point. There were some hiccups when I got a double room instead of twin room.
However, I can see that the staff were trying their best to get a twin room for me.
