We were a big family of 7 persons (grandparents, parents and children) and the Ascott was a perfect choice. We stayed in their 3-bedroom apartments enjoying all the benefits of hotel service and having your own apartement. The rooms are nice, bathrooms lavish, good pool area and breakfast is plentiful. The hotel is very close to a Sky-train station, which...

am a loyal patron of ascott for several visits now and their generous amenities, rooms and fine service have always drawn me back. recent renovations to cafe may have made the anticipated breakfast setting less than desirable but i believe it will improve once renovations are done. the hotel's use of luxury brands (toilet amenities, for example) are a real...

As many have already said, this hotel is showing its age. Part of the ceiling was crumbling, and the floors were warped and sun bleached. It is clear they don't spend time maintaining it. The "free wifi" is a joke. It is VERY slow and only allows 2 devices. They're trying to force you to use the pricey fast wifi....

Needless to say, in Bangkok, the location of your hotel is largely dependent on where you want to go. Otherwise you will be stuck in frustrating traffic jams. Traffic surrounding this hotel is gridlocked during the rush hour to work and from work, so be warned. The property is showing its age. There is a suspicious stench of poor sewage...

Couldn't agree more with the previous review. Service quality at the reception is very disappointing this time. No smile, straight, not willing to accommodate or assist. Being a regular over the years and rather long stay each time one would expected to be treated nicer - NO!

We chose this hotel as we always try and stay in a serviced apartment when in Bangkok. We got a 2 bed, 2 bath place and it was OK. As a few reviews have already said, the hotel could do with updating. We were on the top floor which was smoking (we didn't know this before hand) - the rooms...

Nothing good to say frankly. First and last time staying here. Hotel is run down and not very well maintained. Very disappointing as this was our first stay in an Ascott branded property which supposedly is on the higher end of serviced residences. The rooms are old and dated and in bad need of upgrading (eg creaky timber flooring, moldy...

For the car parking, it's difficult to find out, it almost said "reserved" so i recommend your guard...

Very comfortable & feeling like ones' own home. Service was tremendous with no delays. Staff were humble & pleasant & willing to help at all times. The rooms were big clean & the location very convenient to travel to shopping areas. I have recommended to my cousin who is at Ascott fr 23/11 to 26/11. The charges are pretty good...

Stay with ascott for my recent trip, Nothing to complain about, great service & great room. The front desk always have a great smile. The room I had was the studio suite & they are big & clean. the small kitchen was clean & everything was perfect for a traveller. A small feedback, ascott should think of changing their room...

Staying in Sathorn

Neighborhood Profile
Sathorn
Sathorn is Bangkok’s central business district, but here you’ll find much more than international banks and suited-up office workers. Take a stroll along the small alleys between the skyscrapers and you’ll find yourself among Bangkokians living life at a much slower pace. Feast on fantastic Thai food which you can find in the town-house restaurants, office food courts and sidewalk food stalls spread all over the area, especially around St. Louis Hospital. A visit to Sathorn is not complete without a drink at one of the glitzy sky bars perched atop its skyscrapers.
