The Shanghai Mansion in Chinatown Bangkok, Thailand is such a great place to stay. Everywhere you look you will feel a classic China vibe. There are lots of thoughtful amenities and the staff was very accommodating and went above and beyond to help guests. There is no parking-but the staff directed us to an extremely inexpensive, safe and secure garage and helped us with directions. The band playing in the lobby/lounge in the evening was incredibly enjoyable and energetic. The only negative is that the bed was extremely hard and uncomfortable. But I would still return despite the bed.
Hi there and welcome to the Shanghi mansion, right in the heart of China Town, 5 mins from haulampong train station, this hotel takes you back to old shanghi 1930,s style with the decor to match, its rooms are full of character and atmosphere, breakfast is excellent made to order, comfortable dining room great staff, entertainment at night if you like Jazz, it is handy for everywhere I personally love the place. And when the covid ends I will be going back, as long as the management give me a discount for loyalty ha ha enjoy,
Did a weekend staycation here recently with the family. Clever design with the inner courtyard/atrium and the seating in front of rooms to sit "outside" near the fish pond (only 2nd floor rooms) which was greatly enjoyed by my LO. Fabulous massage promos which both my husband and I enjoyed - our therapist Dell was excellent with her slow deliberate kneads! Spa manager lady in the lobby was super efficient and helpful too. Plenty of things to walk around and see - lots of food stalls just outside the doors. 7-11 just a few doors down to get forgotten toiletries! Easy walk to Soi Nana and its cool restaurant bars and cafes. Returning back to live music at the restaurant downstairs was great. Took a short tuktuk ride to the new Ong Ang canal-side market which wasn't far away at all. Only complaint is the drainage and shower head weren't brilliant in our room (202). Great little neighborhood, would definitely return.…
If you are to be in China town, Bangkok, you should make a visit or even stay at this hip and stylish Shanghai Mansion. Not only are they famous for award-winning Spa by Burasari, they are good at making you feel at home and pampering you to the extreme. Once you step into the hotel, you are welcome by super friendly and helpful staff and then you are accommodated by a very nice concierge who gives a tour of your room or even hail you a tuk tuk to nearby places. The Red Rose restaurant also offers you real nice Chinese treat and wonderful drinks with an evening serenade of Jazz music. Come stay here when you have a chance.
Front desk staff is so friendly. Great spa packages. Beautiful rooms. Live music and tasty craft cocktails in the Michilen rated Red Rose restaurant lounge. Can't wait to come back again and again. Thank you.
