This hotel was previously managed by International Hotel Chain and already quite old. Located not in the main road but opposite with one of local shopping mall.

Room are spacious, clean and breakfast items not many choices but still good as you may think about the Value for Money.

Another good things also their team are very responsive as in the first night our Air Con in the room are not working well and they came to fixed it so quickly.

I was quite excited staying at the firsr international budget hotel in Bangkok.
The hotel just opened and it looks unfinnished and already rundown at the same time. It will suffer the same faith as most hotels of this standard in Bangkok, it will be booked mainly by low cost tour operators from China, Taiwan and Singapore and will look worn after a short while.
The rooms are tiny and there is not even a fridge.
The location in Ramkhamhaeng is not the best, no Subway or Skytrain nearby, and Ramkhamhaeng Road is blessed with some of the worse chronic tfaffic jams in BKK.
The staff is very friendly and kind. The free breakfast is below average.
In summary, I can get a much better Hotel e.g. Eastin in Pratunam, for the same price at a much better location.

I stayed here on seperate occasions having booked through the hotels web site, which offered superior rates to any online agent.

A short cab ride when you avoid peak times and under 200 baht from the airport. Check-in is smooth, and reception staff were always really friendly and helpful.

The room is not huge, but it's fine for 2 people. I tried both the standard & the deluxe, and didn't notice much difference. There's a bar and food place in the lobby, which is where you walk down to collect your food orders (no room service as such). I didn't try breakfast there, but the food we ordered in the evening, thai food, was very good indeed.

The cleanliness is "passable" but a bit dissapointing to deal with stained carpets in a relitively new hotel. The bathroom is small but also adequate. The view from the room is of another building.

Overall it is an easy option for a quick overnighter, and good value for the price.

We needed two overnights between several flights in/out of Bangkok. Using the Accor and/or Ibis website, we could book a VERY cheap non-refundable rate. It takes about 15-20 minutes by taxi from the airport. I would make sure to take the hotel name and address with you, even if written in English, so you can repeat it to the taxi driver. I was worried that it would take a long time to/from the airport, but we had no problems (probably based on missing commute times into/out of Bangkok). The fares for each of the four trips ranged from 150bt to 300bt.

We booked the cheapest standard room for both nights. It was a small room, smelling of very stale cigarette smoke (we forgot to ask for a non-smoking room). The bathroom was so small that one person could barely fit without tripping over the toilet while trying to get into the shower. Although the hotel is fairly new, the fixtures already seem to be aging quickly, since they are of the cheapest construction and materials. Two bottles of water were provided, along with instant coffee. The room has the amenities as described, such as shower (no bath), cable TV, aircon.

On our return, we were upgraded to a superior (non-smoking)room, with a lovely view of the side of a building barely a foot away! The room was at least 50% bigger, as was the bathroom. It was a much more comfortable stay and the smell was much nicer in the room. Still, no bath, just a shower. It was fine for us.

As others have mentioned, there are a lot of eating choices in the mall and there is a 24 hour Foodland within a few blocks.

The reception staff was welcoming and efficient. The staff was kind enough to hold our bags for a few days until our return. For the price (including taxi fare), it was about a third of the price of the Novotel at the airport. I would recommend it for a budget overnight in between flights.

Dear all,
I went to Ibis Huamark with my boyfriend and we had a very good time, the staff is very friendly and kindness. We took a nice cocktail in the pool terrace and then my boyfriend jump in the jacuzzi...It was so nice to be relax there.
The rooms are nice, big enough, clean and shiny.
The location is perfect for shopping, nearby the big Mall shopping center... we spend all our money there !!! The night market is also cool...
So I advise you this hotel, he's just open, nice for leisure and easy to find.
I already plan to come back soon....

We stayed in this hotel for a day...the hotel does not provide wifi in rooms. The wifi can only be used at lobby where the AC was not functioning. Nobody to pick your luggage, breakfast quality was poor, rooms were very small and the hotel is too far from central Bangkok hence would not recommend this hotel to anybody.

maybe this hotel had been established for some time, before the new airport, if before, when the old airport is the only international for bangkok, this hotel might be more convenient. considering my places which i intended to visit, this hotel was rather far away. i had to take taxi to mrt or bts to relay.
The hotel room are rather worn out, bed is ok, towels as too worn out and seems not washed and sterilised well enough...
The breakfast is nice for a budget hotel, also, there is a pool, but sadly, i did not visit this stay.
As always, with the price, overall it's a nice deal.

Well there you go - it is close to Ramkhanhaeng University. Not much else to recommend it though.
The rooms are small, the carpets in the hallways well past their "clean by date". The swimming pool an after thought - about 8 ft wide, 30 ft long and 4 ft deep.
The breakfast buffet only just so so. The free wireless internet comes in one hour portions (ask for several hours worth, and you will be given slips of paper with a User Name and Password for each hour).
A view of the shopping mall right next door - several restaurants on the ground floor - useful.
Still - only 824 Baht per night for a double.

We've stayed at this hotel about 6 times now (all in the space of about 6 months) and would never dream of staying anywhere else. Yes, it's not smack bang in the middle of Bangkok, but that's one of the things we love about it. You don't get hassled in this area and prices are fair. There is an abundance of street food in the area and a huge shopping mall right across the road with a supermarket (quite an upmarket one) and a brilliant foodcourt too. Also well within walking distance are cinemas, internet cafes, laundromats etc. To get around (if you're on a budget) walk to the end of the street (1 min) that the hotel is on and jump on a river taxi! For about 15 baht each you can get pretty much anywhere - and they're really frequent too. Perhaps just check with the staff at reception which stop you need to get off at first, because the river taxis are mainly patronised by locals (who will gladly help when they can). The beds at the Ibis Huamark are really comfortable, and I stress, we would NEVER stay anywhere else.
