Stayed here for 4 nights. The hotel itself its okay and the room too. Not too big, but decent size double bed comfy and clean with comfy pillows. Own toilet with hot water and shower curtain!!! Fridge in the room, TV and aircon...toiletries, towels etc. Staff was helpful (some of them) and breakfast was included in the rate. Now,breakfast...I know...

This hotel was horrible! Not friendly or helpful staff. The room was dirty, urine on the toilet and the rest of the room was clearly not cleaned. You have to pay for the toilet in the reseption, and it wasn't toilet paper or soap, when we asked for toilet paper the staff showed us the napkins on the eating table....

We stayed here when our tour group booked this, it was awful. Our room was dirty, the pillows were covered in rank yellow stains. The first night we sat outside and realised we were beside a rat. The air con left a bad smell but we were lucky it worked in other rooms it didn't. Some others on our tour...

Unfortunately a rating of 0/5 is not possible. Me and my partner were under no illusion that a hotel on Khao San road might leave a lot to be desired. This place was nothing short of vile. Dirty sheets on the bed, stains on every surface, revolting smells coming from the shower/fridge/air conditioning unit - which made loads of noise...

It's hard to know where to start with this place. We arrived at 6am from an overnight bus and were trudging down the rat infested Khaosan Road trying to find the hotel for a good twenty minutes before somebody helpfully guided us down the depressing alley that this place is found. The hotel itself is by far the worst I...

Great location just of Khao San Road. However, this does not make up for the run down, grubby look and feel of the place. Rooms are small (no space between the single beds in the twin room which is a little uncomfortable when sharing with someone you have just met) and basic, although there is a fridge. Wifi connection is...

Although I have stayed here a few times over the years I feel it is slightly overpriced now. It is a budget place to stay in Kao San rd. It is satisfactory stay for a couple to a few nights but is little tired looking and has acquired stains over the years. There is only free internet in lobby and...

Staying in Banglamphu

Neighborhood Profile
Banglamphu
While you’ll see skyscrapers in most parts of Bangkok, it’s the gilded roofs of ancient pagodas that adorn the skyline of Banglamphu, the city’s historical and most touristic district. Hordes of tourists flock to this area to tick quite a few must-see attractions off their to-do list, with the Grand Palace being the most spectacular of them all. Banglamphu is also home to Bangkok’s infamous tourist ghetto, centered around Khao San Road. Visit at night to feast on road-side pad thai, cheap beers and if you’re up for it, some dancing fueled by buckets of Thai whiskey.
