This hotel was one of the cheapest available and closest to the Khao San Road. We stayed here as part of a group tour and I can see why. It's location is great but the hotel itself is not the best, mainly due to it being outdated and the hallways are rather 'prison like'. Hence you get what you pay... More

We stayed for 2 nights before exploring the rest of Thailand. Rooms are quiet and you don't hear the noise from Khao san road in the early hours. We were out the entire day and just needed a quiet room to sleep. Rooms were clean, had aircon, bathrooms sufficient and had hot water which we didn't use. Nice budget hotel,... More

As a budget hostel, you don't really expect much and you don't really get that either. Great location if you want to be near khao san road and WiFi was good, but the bedding was dirty, basic questions to staff seemed a chore, shower was grimey and the area stunk! Much nicer places to stay for a cut of the... More

This place is cheap and that is the only thing I would say good about it. My room definitely had mold and by the second day I was waking up with headaches eyes red and a stuffy nose. When I checked in I had no towels or even a garbage can. The staff was pleasant enough but unable to get... More

Great place on a budget. Cheap, Clean, well located and friendly staff. If you want to stay near Koh San road and not be infested with cockroaches then this is the place! Also have a nice place for food downstairs. Very comfy bed (not too hard). And good selection of western TV.

My partner and I stayed here for two nights and really the only good thing I can say was the location was fantastic... About a 30 second walk from Khao San Road if that's what your in to and its surrounded by great places to eat! The hotel itself was pretty rank to be completely honest.. The bathroom seemed pretty... We had a pretty good stay at this hotel/ the staff was nice, friendly and helpful. Our room was pretty small but very clean. The shower had hot water (a luxury for budget type hotels). Perfect location; right next to the Khao San road, loads of cute and nice restaurants around and not too noisy! The hotel restaurant was really... More

The hotel is very near from backpacker area, can reach by walk from Khaosan rd. Good place to stay if you don't really want to hear the noisy of Khaosan rd but still want to be close from the bar and restaurant. Near from several tourism attraction. Staying in Banglamphu

Neighborhood Profile
Banglamphu
While you’ll see skyscrapers in most parts of Bangkok, it’s the gilded roofs of ancient pagodas that adorn the skyline of Banglamphu, the city’s historical and most touristic district. Hordes of tourists flock to this area to tick quite a few must-see attractions off their to-do list, with the Grand Palace being the most spectacular of them all. Banglamphu is also home to Bangkok’s infamous tourist ghetto, centered around Khao San Road. Visit at night to feast on road-side pad thai, cheap beers and if you’re up for it, some dancing fueled by buckets of Thai whiskey.
