Althought not cheap I booked this as it stated it has a pool. Unfortunately everyone who books discovers that that the pool is in repair and has been since last year and no attempt to make this pool usable. So they get the guest to cancel on the booking site and the guest thinks they will get a refund , but is refused and as guest has cancelled and not the hotel the guest cant leave an advser review. Once the guests cancel , the hotel makes the rooms available that day for the next victim, They justify this by saying its in the small print . But also check the small print as there is no restaurant which is advertised and also states in the listing that wifi is available for one person per room as I was solo I dont know what they would charge for a couple of family room use . They have stated in the obscure small print which they showed me stating it wont be avaiable till following June but looking at previous reviews this date keeps extending. I have taken photos revealing the state of the real state of the pool , the rooms ( the view of the rooms and photo of taken from the top of the hotel overlooking the noise huge buulding that is being built and not been made aware of either …
The hotel feels a bit 'old', but it's nice, clean and quiet. I was on the 5th floor and internet worked really well for the 3 weeks I was there. The staff was friendly and helpful. The only downside was that the pool was closed. It didn't bother me personally, but for some people this might be a downer. Also, not everyone knows exactly how the microwave in the lobby works. I had two 7-Eleven meals that weren't properly heated after opening them. For families it's good to know that this hotel is in the same street as Nana Plaza, one of the red-light districts in Bangkok. It's actually a really small part of Soi 4, but during the evening a lot of girls are there trying to hook up with men for sex (and even more ladyboys, who can be quite persistent). For me as a single guy, this was sometimes a little annoying, but never a problem, but as a family, you might want to keep this in mind. Having said that, the hotel is 'guest friendly', meaning you can have a person (or two) visit you with no additional charge (just make sure they leave their ID at the reception). While the hotel and maybe the street itself might not be everyone's cup of tea, I had a really good time there and I have no complaints about the hotel. I actually thought the location was great. The hotel is in a 14-minute walking distance from BTS Nana, the so-called Skytrain, which makes it easy to move around the city. Additionally, you can take the train (MRT) to go to different places where the BTS doesn't go. The closest train station is Sukhumvit and it's located near the Terminal 21 shopping mall at Asok BTS. So... in short... I recommend this hotel. :-) …
stood 5th floor near pool .was excelent. this one quiet nice. Good relaxing with bar and parasols. staffs very helpfull and friendly . there was nothing to complain for me.gladly again lumphini park 1200m away
For 3 star it is good, close to amenities and so on, i.e. bars, shops, Nana skytrain staion. No fuss hotel with all that you need for a comfortable stay... Perhaps the hotel is in need of refurbishment.
The room was relatively small and our room 509 has horrific view to the neighboring building. Rooftop bar with the pool was the best part of our stay. Beautiful view from there and nice place to cool yourself. Location is very close (5 min walk) to some of most popular gogobars in Bankok and Nana Plaza. If you are on honeymoon, stay away from there. If you are single male it could be intersting experience.
InCooperative Staff, Cockroaches roaming around in the room, Rooms are shorter, Cheap location and hotel. Will give 1 start to the property. I would suggest to go for other place insted of this property at this price.
The barrister in the rooftop bar makes a fabulous lemonade. I’ve never had a non-alcoholic drink that is as good as this! When you don’t drink alcohol you usually have to settle for something boring but this is really amazing. If you’re staying here it is really worth trying.
Great hotel food and friendly. Been many times before. Close to the center of Bangkok and easy to get abot. Only bad point is the amount of Indians that never shower before going into the pool. They wear their dirty stained underwear or clothes they travel in. So be careful.
The hotel is situated in a lane of cheap pubs and bars, making it an uncomfortable approach for families and couples. Apart from that, the breakfast hardly has any vegetarian options. The room was small but fine. They offer massage services at better rates than anywhere else and the service is excellent. The staff is helpful and friendly. There are many Indian restaurants nearby and sky train station is also at a walking distance.
This is a very good hotel that meets and exceeds needs very well. It was more than what we were expecting in every order. The staff were all very polite and helpful, there is a complimentary shuttle to the end of the soi if needed, and breakfast was more than plentiful and varied every day. Also feel the need to compliment on the general cleanliness of the premises from the lobby, to our room as well as the pool. Great hotel, exceptional value for money and highly likely to reccomend & return.
