This is a very nice clean hotel conveniently located in the Patpong Area. Not too pricey and has a nice pool and exotic Thai restaurant. Walk to the Night Market for all your shopping needs. Access to the BTS public transport is a 10 min walk.

This hotel is a hidden oasis in a busy city. The staff were so friendly and helpful. Everything was clean and the rooms were nice and big and had everything you needed. Breakfast was brilliant and there is a restaurant and bar by the pool which is beautiful. The location was great, easy to get to all the big attractions...

The main reasons for choosing this hotel: 1. Located at one of Bangkok's main street- Surawong Road. About a 7-minute walk to Sala Daeng BTS station. Easy to find food. 2. Room is basic but well-maintained. Good enough for no-frills travellers. 3. Good value for money. This is the second time I am staying here and will definately stay here...

Its a 3 Star hotel with reasonable rates. In the centre of Bangkok near all the bars and the night life. Its a little bit dated in its appearance but if your just planning to sleep and go out for the day, its perfect. Stayed in the Junior Suit for a couple of nights on the top floor (5). Room...

We have stayed at the rose hotel twice now.and what a hidden gem it is. We had an extra fold away bed for our daughter which made things a little sparing for room but hey your only in your room to tidy up or sleep. The rooms are very tidy with very helpful housekeeping. The staff are amazingly , always...

This is a great place to stay in Bangkok! The hotel is very very clean. Staff is really friendly and they have a great service desk that helps you out of you want to go on a trip or traveling! They've got a really nice pool to swim in and they are close to nightmarkets and bars!

Only stayed one night in this hotel and it served its purpose. Make sure you have the address in Thai and the phone number of the hotel as our taxi driver had trouble finding it. The hotel is situated down a small side road. Didn't go in the pool but the restaurant at the back of the hotel had nice...

Rose Hotel is a well-priced Central Bangkok hotel. Rooms are small, but have recently had a refurbish so are clean, good shower/bath, and even have a 32inch Sony TV. Highlight is the exquisite pool, lowlight is the tired grubby atrium to the rooms. Bonus was the included free car parking right beside the hotel, and convenient location to the best...

First time I stayed here and it's very central for my work purpose (walking to the Chulalongkorn University just across the main road). Room is ok, internet too, but the insides are a bit gloomy. Nevertheless, a pool in central Bangkok with an adjacent restaurant (local architecture) is nice. Set-back a100 meters from the road, it's also somewhat quieter. There...

This is our second stay at the Rose and we booked because we loved it the last time 6 years ago. However the facilities seemed a little shabby this time and poorly maintained. We booked a suite this time and although the size was very good the furnishings were a bit old and tatty, the bed was a bit lumpy...

Staying in Silom

Neighborhood Profile
Silom
Despite the lack of any major tourist attractions, this lively neighborhood is a favorite of many. Whether it's the (somewhat naughty) nightlife of Soi Patpong, the various handicraft night markets or the plethora of dining options that tickle your fancy, a night out in Silom is a must on every itinerary. It's worth a stop during daytime, too: join office workers on a quest to tasty street food during lunch and shop at Silom Complex for a great mix of Thai and international stores. After a day of strolling around the congested sidewalks, a visit to Silom's Lumphini Park, Bangkok's answer to NYC's Central Park, is a welcome change of scenery.
