The Park Saladaeng is a wonderful small hotel with kindly management - probably has less than a dozen rooms. It may once have been a large house or a few apartments, but today it is a modern well appointed hotel. I used it as my...More
I was in Bangkok for a conference at a hotel close to Saladaeng so stayed here as it was convenient and not expensive. The room was comfortable with a small, yet very functional bathroom. It would have been nice if they had served breakfast but...More
Hidden in a back street this small boutique hotel was one of the cleanest and quietest places I have ever stayed in. Clean, smelt good everywhere and very pleasant service. No restaurant or bar but many good places and shopping close by.

This is my first choice when I stay in Bangkok. It's a cute, small hotel down a less travelled street but close to everything. The staff are sweet and the rooms are clean and modern. I must have stayed here close to a dozen times.

Despite the lack of any major tourist attractions, this lively neighborhood is a favorite of many. Whether it's the (somewhat naughty) nightlife of Soi Patpong, the various handicraft night markets or the plethora of dining options that tickle your fancy, a night out in Silom is a must on every itinerary. It's worth a stop during daytime, too: join office workers on a quest to tasty street food during lunch and shop
at Silom Complex for a great mix of Thai and international stores. After a day of strolling around the congested sidewalks, a visit to Silom's Lumphini Park, Bangkok's answer to NYC's Central Park, is a welcome change of scenery.
