ice room and location” We had the executive room (one master bedroom with large bed and another separate room with single bed). It had a full bath and a 1/2 bath. With full kitchen , huge fridge and the best part , it had a combo single unit washer and dryer!! So much storage cabinets and a nice living room area. Spacious. The shuttle tuk tuk to and from Main Street is convenient but walking isn’t so bad. Korea town is up the street with lots of fantastic BBQ places . Avoid taking taxis and grab if possible . Learn how to use BTS AND MRT for fast efficient to malls , river, etc. we were stuck in traffic for over an hour one evening where it would normally take 20 minutes with no traffic. After that experience we went to use BTS and it’s so much faster and cheaper . Every person working for BYS or not so helpful in directing us to where we want to go. Most speak good English or if not I used google translate website to show what I want (not full sentence but the word) and they get it and show how to get it or direction to go. Anyway, would definitely want to stay in the hotel again. So close to Terminal 21 and best is close to BTS station . Breakfast was decent and was included in the price of room. We did not use pool or other amenities.

A 2 weeks stay with family . The hotel room was a big size with 2 rooms and a kitchen and dining table. I believe this is a room for long term stay as I intended / expected, very spacious room. A nice balcony view to enjoy the city. With a kitchen, it allows you to buy stuff at the supermarket and prepare some food in the room. a washing machine also available, ideal for long stays. The staff is attentive and always ready to help. The beds were very comfy , spacious and there was 1 individual toilet and 1 bathroom. The bathroom was spacious and had a good rain shower however the hand shower was not powerful. Had some internet service problems in the beginning. Many times the cleaning staff came in while we were in but he did the servicing spotless. The hotel by itself is a bit old. The high floor corridors could be better maintained but the warmth of the room compensated it. There was a gym and a pool , we didn't use it but ice size. The restaurant at the ground floor was nice and many times the price of the restaurant is not different from eating in malls or outside, very reasonable and the main staff was always attentive and remembered even what each one ate the previous night.Services on printing was requested and promptly done. The hotel though is around 5-10 min walk from the Sukhumvit road, there is a tuk-tuk service that constantly goes back and forward. The hotel is close to the Benjakitty park, very nice for walks. The main road, it is very close to Nana and Asoke, also walking distance to Terminal 21.

The hotel is placed central Sukhumvit, close to BTS (5 minutes walk), but down a quiet soi. We had a fantastic view of the park, lake and city from our balcony. Staff polite and helpful. Good choice of breakfast. Great, quite big pool. The only thing missing would be staff helping out with information on getting around the city, booking of trips etc.

Having checked different places in Bangkok I settled on centre point Soi 10 due to location. Having lived in Bangkok for 7 years and know the area well. On booking I opted for 2 suites in the new greenery wing.. On arrival I was told that 1 suite was being upgraded to a balcony suite as I’d booked 1 pool room suite and 1 suite. All went well, on arriving back on Friday evening at 11pm My whole dressing room area was flooded with water cascading from the ceiling. I went to reception and they sent 2 guys to fix After a period he said all was ok and housekeeping cleared the floor.. 5:45 Saturday morning and I’m awoken to water travelling into my room as it was just like a waterfall Reception moved me to the main wing as I was informed no available room was available in my wing… the new room smelt musty and of smoke also There were cigarettes stumps on the floor outside my room! On complaining I was told it was a 1 bedroomed suite. I said I would return in 2 hours to speak to the manager. 20 minutes later they had miraculously found me another room in the greenery wing. I was given a key and told I was on the first floor above my original room. The bell guy took me to the ground floor and told me I was in room B107.. I’d originally been in B106 so I’d been put in the room next to my original. On opening the door the foul smell hit me immediately I asked for housekeeping and they came and sprayed air freshener, then later when the smell remained they brought a dehumidifier and a block air freshener… just to be clear none of this worked. Along with this Each time you opened the wardrobe doors all the lights flickered, the main shower pole just spurts water the shower over the bath just puddles out all along the side… to say this wing has teething issues would be an understatement. Nowhere did management even address these issues either when I contacted or even on check out.. I would give this a wide berth on my next visit to Bangkok

When entering the hotel you think you’re in for a real treat. It’s beautiful foyer and waiting area are chic and fresh and you are greeted by friendly and efficient staff. The dining area and buffet are also beautifully furnished and set out. The buffet in particular had plenty of selection for a number of different cultures. The pool is smaller than it looks in the pictures and not many loungers for guests, so first in, first served. It’s got a really good gym though. We went to Thailand for surgery and booked Centrepoint for recovery as it had fully furnished apartments. The apartment did not match the type of grandeur as the foyer and reception. As soon as I walked in, I was met with a very permeating musty smell. Cupboard door handles were askew, very noticeable scuff marks all over the doors and cupboards and a lot of the surfaces had stains. One of the aircon units (over the single beds) started leaking in the night. There was mesh covering the balcony, to prevent (I can only assume rubbish) flying off and falling from height below, but it impeded viewing off the balcony. Nothing like any of the photos you see. The kitchen was an area we didn’t want to utilise at all. Heaps of cupboards but all but 2 were empty and all the crockery was up in the highest shelf of the 2 cupboards, so you needed to drag a chair over to get anything. It’s a shame as the room attendants do such a good job but the rooms are really tired and in need of some TLC. Looks like they might be starting but if you are staying there, coming home to a musty room is unpleasant. There menu for dining and room service is also limited. It’s also down a long road. They have a complimentary tuk tuk to take you to the main road which is helpful and it’s close to the BTS skytrain and Terminal 21. Lots of good places to eat around the area too. So it’s well situated but it needs to lift is room experience to compete with all the other hotels around.

Hotel lobby looks new n modern till we went to our room. Blasted back to the 90s when the lift door open. Such a contrast to the lobby. It’s ok I thought When we stepped into the room, the floor was dusty. Our feet were coated in greyish dust. The shelves in the wardrobe were the same. Seems like the room has been empty for a while as there was also a stale smell lingering. To wind down, I on the TV n not many channels were of interest to us English speaking us. Picture quality was bad The staff were well mannered and meticulous during check in. Seems like the establishment is out for your money and not be short changed. Breakfast was good with good hospitality. A bit of walking to the main road but it comes with a complimentary tuk tuk ride Gym was not too bad with some free weights, static stations and treadmills. Pool was decent Overall, nothing to shout about if you are after a holiday experience and cleanliness is one of your pet peeve/allergies

This hotel located near end of Soi 10 is a wonderful older hotel which has seen some renovations done (lobby, dining/breakfast area and Pool floor F) Friendly and efficient check in and had a one bedroom suite. Room was well appointed but certainly in need of renovations (painting peeling off moulding areas on ceiling, bathroom ceiling light while LED had electrical short. Closets, cupboards and doors all needed refinishing or replacement) Hallways on floors need refreshing and lighting improved (wall sconces almost sideways in some cases) All this being said, found the room comfortable and clean. Yes it is old looking and really does need renovations but it is good value for money. Shuttle cart goes up and down soi every 10/15 minutes and is efficient even though it is only a 10 minute walk from Sukhumvit to hotel.

Having stayed at all of the other hotels on Soi 10, I looked forward to staying at Centre Point. Its location near the new Benjakitti Forest Park is a plus for joggers and strollers. But the hotel's service is unwelcoming and inefficient, particularly from the unsmiling front desk staff and the maintenance staff -- not what I'm used to in Thailand. More concerning, I had a plumbing problem that took 4 days to resolve -- the hot water would disappear during my showers. The first maintenance person insisted that there was nothing wrong. Only when a supervisor revisited on the fourth day did they figure out the problem. An additional problem with the TV was fixed more expeditiously. I had chosen a more expensive room with a balcony view of Benjakitti Park, but the balcony gets baked by the afternoon sun, and the novelty of the view wears off after a couple of days, so it wasn't good value for me for my one-week stay. The poor design of the unnecessarily large foyer area is at the expense of the bedroom area, and so it was a squeeze to get by the bed on the way to the bathroom. The modern lobby belies the dated interior of the hotel. The room's woodwork trim shows wear and tear and could use renovation, not just more coats of paint. Maybe tellingly, one of the cabinets included a DVD and Blu-Ray player, just in case you're still traveling with your own supply of movie discs.

Stayed here many, many times. Still very affordable for a one bedroom with kitchen, washing machine etc. However, I have to agree with others. Much of the hotel is looking a bit dated, not dirty or unkempt just old. Much like myself. They have changed the foyer area and restaurant this year. The breakfast area has been updated but the choice of food is not what it was. New heat plates to replace the Bain Marie's still do not keep the food that hot and the toasters are still poor. You now have to ask for your bacon when ordering eggs, Why? Can I not be trusted ? In the restaurant itself something is drastically wrong with the lighting. It just feels gloomy. New Halogen lamps I assume 555 You can see a lot of money has been spent but make us feel spoilt with choice, don't make me feel guilty for wanting a little more bacon and invest in some decent toasters! Staff, with the exception of the man who oversees the Swimming pool, are always friendly and helpful. Cleaning staff respectful of your needs and deserve decnt tip. Cleaning Pool man needs re-training. My wife still prefers this to any of he other hotels we stay in around Bangkok and we are back again in the New Year. However, i am beginning to feel that there is more for my Baht out there somewhere.
