The overall interior and architecture design concept is created with a modern living lifestyle in mind with the idea of Thailand’s 4 regions. All 82 rooms ranging from 28 – 40 sqm and other facilities will set up with the Maitria's savviness. Facilities include a themed destination restaurant, rooftop swimming pool, fitness centre and rooftop boardroom. The Hotel will open as an ASQ property first till Covid is over. Denmark based Evaristti Studios has been the interior designer for the project. Marco Evaristti is the owner and founder of the company, and for more than 20 years, Marco has become world-renowned for his career as a professional artist. He is known for creating installations using a unique choice of materials often taken directly from nature, heightening the viewer's experience, making the work more 'real' in a sense.

U Shukumvit hotel
About 1 hour in taxi from airport
On arrival asked to sit in reception the receptionist, given ice cold towels fabulous.
The receptionist then sat with us processing our checkin
We had to give a 1000 THB deposit for the room, instead of a credit card.
The receptionist brought us a book of tours
Room was not ready so we had to wait at the pool bar. Beautiful rooftop pool and bar, the hotel provides towels for the sun beds.
The room itself had a mini bar, tea and coffee making facilities, toiletries iron and board on request and if you needed spare toothbrushes etc reception would provide.
All the staff were extremely helpful and friendly.
Breakfast was great a good choice and eggs as requested.
We ate in the pool bar the food was delicious.
The hotel is about a 6-10 minute walk to the main road we’re restaurants shops and market stalls can be found.
If you turn left when you hit the main road after about a 5 minute walk you will see the shopping centre Terminal 21, great for shopping and many restaurants to eat in.
Hotel has a free tut tut to Terminal 21, you need to book at reception.
Great hotel would definitely return.

If you want a sterile "Ritz/Carlton" type of hotel, this hotel is not for you. If you want a gem of a hotel that will not bankrupt you and offers really good value for money - read on.
I have never known a hotel where the staff go out of their way as much to make you welcome. After one day, the hotel tuk-tuk driver recognised us and stopped in the street to pick us up. Nothing is too much trouble and the accommodation in the hotel is to the highest standard, with all the rooms being different as opposed to the "square box" variety. The food was of high quality and they catered for the strange visitor who wanted to see Thailand yet eat Western! We have extra reason to have experienced the caring and helpfulness of the staff and I can honestly say that nothing was too much trouble for them. We owe them a great debt of gratitude for doing what they did not need to do - Thank You.

We arrived late in the afternoon with young kids only to be told we could have our room in three (3!!) hours.
Once we got a our two connecting rooms the A/C was only working in the one and it was impossible to sleep. It was very humid a warm.
The hotel staff were rude and standing in the room waiting to be tipped -I don’t tip for poor service.
Not recommending this place and not coming back.

Total dissaster..
The time is now 19.18 and we still have no rooms because on arrivale thay say that the hotel has 24 hour checking in and out so if other guests check in late the can use the room 24h so now for the second time we have no room!
It was the same at the first visit. Totally unacceptable and we will never book here again.

We book a superior room, but there was nothing superior about it. The carpet was stained, the corridor threadbare in places and if the air conditioning was off it smelled of stale smoke. We ordered breakfast which was wrong so my husband had finished his before I got mine. On our 2 day we had a drink on the roof bar but at 10.50 were told we could our drinks to our room ( husband said no thanks I’ll drink it here) they shut the bar and started turning the lights off, so our drinks didn’t get finished.

This is a fantastic hotel. The staff are lovely, from the doormen to the reception staff, chefs and restaurant staff. They are very friendly and helpful and made it a pleasure to stay here. It made my daughter's birthday trip very special indeed.
Breakfast is served from 0630 -1100 and then the restaurant is open to 11pm. The food served is excellent and we chose from the regional menu in the restaurant itself. Can also order and be served at the pool rooftop bar which is a lovely setting to enjoy cocktails from the poolside bar.
The rooms are spacious and clean with tea/coffee making facilities and robes and slippers.
There is a complimentary tuk tuk to and from the nearest metro or it's a 10 minute walk.
I would definitely recommend this hotel and would stay here again (and that's not something I often say).

We stayed at this hotel for 3 days in December. The staff at the hotel were extremely helpful, nothing was too much. When we arrived we were given a free room upgrade to a corner suite which was huge. The room was very comfortable and modern. Breakfast had a good selection and was a buffet style so you could have as much or as little as you liked. The pool area was clean and served by a bar which also does food. This did get very busy at times but it was definitely a great place to hang out after a busy day exploring the city. The hotel is a short walk from the main street but they do offer a free took took service to Asoke overground station which is very useful. Overall I would recommend a stay at this hotel.

Lovely hotel, amazing staff - so friendly and helpful.
Location is off a main road, and not ideal to walk at night -not much in the way of footpaths but the free Tuk Tuk comes in handy.
Food was lovely - pool area is small but clean.

Booked to stay here for 4 nights as part of a Far East tour. Due to virus we had to cut the holiday short and return to the UK, so only stayed for one night.
Hotel is getting a tad tired around the edges and was not impressed with the only breakfast that we had, buffet food was cold so refrained to ensure no digestive issues.
U Sukhumvit would not provide a refund for the unused nights, despite the fact the hotel was extremely busy so more than sure our room would be resold, so hotel gaining.
Deferring our stay is not going to be feasible within the period granted, as Bangkok is not exactly on our doorstep.
Only hotel as part of our tour that would not provide a refund, so very disappointed. While I understand the hospitality and travel industry are struggling, so is everyone with jobs being lost or hours reduced in nearly all industries, including my own. How companies treat customers will define their future once this is all over, so will never return to this hotel.

Just use Bolt when you exit the airport
There is a tour operator in the hotel but they were very expensive.
The plugs are the usual 2 pin ones which work the the normal adapters
It didn’t seem so just posters asking if you felt unwell to phone helpline
MBK Shopping Centre is one suggestion and it is on the Skytrain line.
