been staying here last time, and this time it was quite horrible. 1. weird urine smell in the ensuite shower/toilet, i have to hose it with a lot of water to rid the smell, which showed that the room was not being cleaned properly, or at all. 2. seen several tiny cockroaches on my bed, corner of the bed has...

About to leave this hostel after staying for the third time. The other visits here have been great and our previous visit was only about 3 months ago. The place seems to have deteriorated a lot in that time. Currently the communal room air conditioner is leaking very heavily, Im talking buckets full of water which frequently overflows on to...

Checked in for a third stay at Thrive & we didn't enjoy this as much as the other two times... We have always just booked the small private room and did the same this time but felt like the room was tiny; sure it was the smallest one we have ever had because of the unusual shape of the room....

Stayed in an S private room - XXS I believe it should be sold under. We arrived early and the room wasn't ready (understandable completely) they advised we could use the communal shower to freshen up however, but had to pay to rent a towel 20 or 40 baht I think. Communal showers were ok. Also have to have a...

Firstly, the architecture and design of the hostel is very funky and the location is fantastic as it is right beside Lumpini Park, Silom and the Patpong area. I booked a private room as it looked great on the website but the photo was very deceptive, the room was tiny and the price was the same as I had paid...

Stayed here for 3 nights with a friend in a little tiny private room. Well what can i say.. you get what you paid, still it is value for money. The room is simple & unique with Cozy ambience + strategic location! Will definitely be back.

Staying in Silom

Neighborhood Profile
Silom
Despite the lack of any major tourist attractions, this lively neighborhood is a favorite of many. Whether it's the (somewhat naughty) nightlife of Soi Patpong, the various handicraft night markets or the plethora of dining options that tickle your fancy, a night out in Silom is a must on every itinerary. It's worth a stop during daytime, too: join office workers on a quest to tasty street food during lunch and shop at Silom Complex for a great mix of Thai and international stores. After a day of strolling around the congested sidewalks, a visit to Silom's Lumphini Park, Bangkok's answer to NYC's Central Park, is a welcome change of scenery.
