The BCGH is an outstanding value for not only a convenient location but the accommodations are clean, consistent and meals are very good. The staff members are outstanding: professional, honest and dedicated. My family has a long and valued relationship with BCGH and we consistently look forward to visiting as so many of our former residences, friends and family are...

Unless you really want a view of the river there cannot be a better located guest house. Sky train, underground train, Silom shopping plaza, Lumphini Park, vast array of dining options are all within easy walking distance. BCGH is consistent in its appeal - see my previous reviews - everything remains the same. The value for money is superb.

Basic but spacious rooms with hot water and Breakfast included. Nice showers with good pressure. Good wifi, tv in room with cnn and bbc, free bottled water in room, mini fridge, good writing desk. On Sunday there's a bit of noise from a church service if your room is close to the chapel, but generally it's a super peaceful oasis...

Takes about one hour to get to on public transport from the airport. Used a meeting room at the venue for several days for a non-profit committee meeting. Left luggage (for a fee) whilst travelling elsewhere. Included breakfast is plentiful and varied. Other meals available on order, nothing fancy but good, sensible fare. Venue best seen as a practical stopover...

I've stayed at the BCGH several times while in Bangkok. It is nothing fancy but it is reasonably priced, clean, safe and usually quiet. I always sleep well here. They have rooms of varying sizes (doubles, triples, family rooms, etc.) and also lots of public spaces. Breakfast is included but it is just okay. The location is great with easy...

Stayed here for 3 nights for a conference. The room is clean and housekeeping is done everyday. Nothing is stolen though we just left our valuables inside the room. The staff are friendly and always greets us. It is accessible to both the bts and mrt. Malls, stores, night markets, street foods, hospitals are all within walking distance. Free buffet...

I am so glad that my friend's cousin, who lives in Bangkok, recommend the place. It's a 4-story Guest House with kind staff. The place was our haven for 5 nights. Perfectly located - it's 'right beside' a mall (Silom Complex) street food, night market and bars ( Patpong) restaurants and coffee shops, roof deck bars (Cloud 47), BTS (Saladaeng...

This year will make it 54 trips for me through Bangkok over the last 9 years. BCGH is an oasis of peace and welcome on my trips to Asia. I deliberately spend one or two rest days here. It is not expensive and I feel known as a person by the staff. It is much better than the hotels I...

We had a quad room. It was roomy enough for 4 adults, very clean, but basic. There's a nice night market close by and plenty of street food places. Cloud 47, a rooftop bar is close too, and not that expensive. Wi-fi is a little quirky in so far as you have to log in every time you use it....

Staying in Silom

Neighborhood Profile
Silom
Despite the lack of any major tourist attractions, this lively neighborhood is a favorite of many. Whether it's the (somewhat naughty) nightlife of Soi Patpong, the various handicraft night markets or the plethora of dining options that tickle your fancy, a night out in Silom is a must on every itinerary. It's worth a stop during daytime, too: join office workers on a quest to tasty street food during lunch and shop at Silom Complex for a great mix of Thai and international stores. After a day of strolling around the congested sidewalks, a visit to Silom's Lumphini Park, Bangkok's answer to NYC's Central Park, is a welcome change of scenery.
