Stayed here one night on way to Chiang Mai Hotel pretty basic room small integral shower toilet, which I hate always got a wet floor wifi ok no restaurant but local food all around staff excellent spoke great English mini van to airport 85 bht very very small swimming pool looks a lot bigger on the photos only stair up to room very narrow not easy at £14.80 should not moan but as I say good enough for 1 or 2 nights
I arrived in Bangkok and was received by warm and charming people at the airport for all the COVID information and immigration that was very helpful to me. After all of that the Golden Orchard Hotel had sent a very well mannered Driver. The staff at the hotel where very respectful and so was the nurse. The food was very good and tasty. The room was great due to it was very clean and had a great view of outside. I would recommend this ASQ / Hotel to anyone who asks. Keep up the great job.
Hopefully you’re going to go to this wonderful hotel I just had 3 nights there and loved the bedroom on 15th so big and airy Staff were fantastic and spoke English so communication was not a problem Close to shops and food market and in the evening beer was 2-1 so I always had a night cap. Breakfast would be fantastic for an asean person but being British you’re options were limited Toast jam and omelettes or fried egg. Sorry no bacon or orange juice Didn’t stop for evening food as we ate out, but it looked good value for money 499 thai baht per person for buffet meal. Taxi service outside hotel around 100 baht into city centre and waiting time 2 minutes max. Hotel highly recommended Good luck 😉
Good hotel nearby DMK airport clean and very big rooms staffs are very kind and also good facility as such gym and pool The hotel is really quiet. Room is spacious, quiet and the bed is really comfortable
I've been traveling accross Asia for a few weeks and the Gold Orchid is by far the best place i've stayed in. Beautiful room, friendly staff, pool, gym, everything i could want! Just a great place to stay!
So good service and high effective hotel I drive there who make a good guideline for parking. Front desk people also introduce more useful information for our seeking the route for dining and travel sign visiting points
I have stayed with a colleague for a business trip in this Hotel. This Hotel was recommended by our client, as it is close by. For us a nice area to stay, due to the business demand. Upon arrival, and very friendly staff welcomed us. During the stay, the staff was always very kind and helpful. Our rooms, the Junior suites, were very spacious and well maintained. Overall, we enjoyed the stay in this Hotel. The internet connection is free and runs stable. For business trip, we can recommend this hotel.
I attended a workshop in Rangsit area, so I was suggested to stay in this hotel. It only took about 15 minutes from the hotel to the workshop venue. The price is based on the corporate rate, and it's a good price anyway. The check in process was very quick, the hotel staff is very helpful, she didn't ask the full payment for the 6 nights reservation, nor asking for the deposit money. We were given two wifi passwords, each is valid for three days. Actually the reservation we made was including the breakfast, but as I am fasting I requested to have a breakfast at 4 am in the morning. And the hotel prepared the breakfast based on my request. The bedroom and the bathroom are clean. The water heater, the coffee, tea and mineral water are all available. The bathroom amenities are also available. It's a very recommended hotel with a very good price…
Unfortunately we stayed there 17-19 march with our Turkish group. Jolly tour arranged this hotel for us, because we bought package tour from Jolly tour. I can not believe this hotel has 4 stars?!!! Really very bad hotel. Very very bad towels. We wake up by the phone ringing of another room! I think this hotel has a cartoon walls. Only location is good. Remain is garbage..
For a cheaper hotel, this ticks the box however there are some small adjustments that could be made.. On our first night we checked in and went straight to the room. I called room services to enquire about food and they said they would check but actually hung up the phone - luckily a 7/11 is nearby. The toilet then seemed to be blocked and I called reception to get it promptly fixed. The water feature in the main entrance has hilarious 'caution' signs in it, the breakfast buffet was lukewarm/cold and after trying it once, we avoided it going forwards. The air conditioning/bathroom light and fridge then stopped working near the end of our stay and we were moved to another room without issue. In fact, we were moved to a room in better condition with a far quieter air conditioning unit and more water pressure (maybe as a result of moving further down in the building). The rooms themselves were spacious enough however the bathrooms require a good clean (mouldy old shower curtains and tiles that need a good scrub), the balconys are for show only and you are unable to open them - I was looking forwards to having a balcony for New Year so this is a dissappointment. The mattresses were firm but comfortable so we slept well. The gym and pool on the other hand were in good condition and we used them daily. In terms of location, we were a 20 minute walk to the Ari station were we could travel with ease towards the centre of Bangkok. The surrounding area next to the hotel has a nice local, friendly atmosphere. The only nuisance was that taxi drivers did not seem to know the hotels location so take one of the business cards from reception with you that contains the address. If the rooms were cleaner and better maintained this would be ideal, otherwise I might look elsewhere if I returned to Bangkok. I feel the photos on the hotels website paint the hotel in a better light than reality. The hotel feels like it caters towards large budget tour groups.…
