I've been to Thailand, Bangkok, maybe 7 times, and this time I really don't intend to go to Bangkok but just have fun in ChiangMai. But my friend was traveling to Thailand for the first time, so I decided to go to Bangkok. I read a lot of reviews on agoda and trip.com and then decided to choose HuaChang but it was not what I expected.
- Location: 😂😂 really a location not too close to anywhere. To get to 7-11, you have to walk about 10 minutes across a bridge, then from the hotel you have to walk through Central or Siam. And the location of the hotel is also difficult for cars to enter. It's upside down and makes it difficult to turn around.
- I feel like there's a smell in the Lobby area, but I don't use strong room spray to mask the strange smell, but I can still feel it. When you enter, you will be given 2 bottles of drinking water. The receptionist is not very friendly, but in return Mr. Bellman is extremely friendly.
- Breakfast at the hotel is okay, not very diverse and the food is only average.
- The hotel has a natural-style swimming pool. During the day I find it quite beautiful but at night I find it a bit scary.
- I booked a deluxe room so the room space is quite large. I'm just wondering about the location of the bathtub 😂😂 I really don't know what to do with it. Personal items are basically complete, I really like the hair combing session
Next time I come to Bangkok, I will choose another location with a more convenient location for transportation.

stayed here for 4 nights for a business trip. the room had this pink dominated color with classic design interior all over and relatively spacious. However it is not as "luxurious" as they advertised although from the price point they offered I also couldn't say that this is a reasonably priced hotel. Breakfast was far from the 4-star standard, although they offered local Thai cuisines and tasted really good. Location wise, it is strategically located very near to Bangkok shopping hub where you can reach MBK, Siam Discovery, Siam Center, Siam Paragon, and Central World between 5 to 10 mins walk. BTS station is also located within 5 mins walk.

We'd booked the Hua Chang for our final two night's in Bangkok prior to heading back to the UK, after staying at some more mid-range hotels on our trip we decided to treat ourselves to a slightly more luxurious choice in the beating heart of Bangkok.
On the plus side, the location is superb, you're extremely central which makes investigating other parts of the City very easy. You also have the Siam Centre and Central Malls for high-end shopping or MBK for the more bargain end of things. The buffet breakfast was also very nice and with plenty of choice.
Sadly the hotel itself was a bit of a let down. We'd booked a family suite on the top floor which was extremely spacious, although much of the room was made up of a large corridor and slightly pointless lounge area. Although the reception and room itself had some fairly bling furniture, the actual structure of the building needed some serious work doing to it. The water in the shower was cold and there was a faint smell of drains, the wallpaper was coming away from the walls and the corridors were stained and swelteringly hot.
This place could be amazing if someone had the vision and the budget to spend a little bit of money on some fairly minor revamps, but as it was it looked a little tired and unloved.

Rooms are not nice and the room and hotel is nothing like what it appears in pictures. Rooms have a weirdly place bath tub in the middle of the room. Views from hotel window are such that keeps the curtains closed at all times.
Hotel WiFi is horrible. Staff is not very helpful and has serious difficulties understanding English.
Hotel doesn't provide ironing / pressing service and we were handed an iron to press our clothes ourselves. Room service is very unresponsive. Had to eat McDonald's bcoz room service won't answer and reception told they will call back which they did after about 20mins and no courtesy to apologise or justify such delayed response.
Nothing special about the hotel and not value for money. Once can find much better places than this, would strongly recommend everyone against staying here

We got a fantastic deal on the place which included a traditional thai lunch buffet, breakfast served in room, and fb credit to use at dinner. The thai dishes served here are truly exceptional and as a local I occasionally visit here.
The rooms were decent sized and the fixtures are fairly modern. The bedding was comfortable and good spa quality toiletries were provided which is nice. The only downside is as rooms face a very busy road noise could be an issue for some light sleepers.
Service wise it is really a mixed basket, the staff at the restaurant have been exceptional however a couple of the front desk staff did come across as stand-off-ish. Also when we pulled into the driveway there were no staff to assist with luggage or provide directions or anything. Given the covid current situation, I'm not thinking too much about it.
All in all I'd come back if theres another offer like this again.

Despite the train tracks right outside our 6th floor window, you’ve got to be an extremely light sleeper to be bothered by it. The main road does make it noisy at the pool but it’s drowned out by the water features.
Rooms and environs are spotless and everything else is still in tiptop condition. Extremely well maintained during the pandemic.
The only downside is that breakfast is very limited due to Covid. You get breads and drinks at the station, but you can have fried rice, noodle soup, congee and eggs to order.

On arrival we were greeted with a very well dressed doorman and bling doors (great start after a long journey) As it was nighttime we did not have much food or drink options open nearby. We had to search around for a 7 eleven. Suggest that reception should have a list/map of area.
Rooms and amenities are awesome with lots of little extra touches to make your stay more comfortable. I was worried about the noise of the metro outside the hotel after watching a recent review on Youtube. Not an issue at all. Could only hear the odd beefed up TukTuk going past. Bed was comfortable and slept like a baby.
Try out the local canal boats (1 min walk behind the hotel). You can also grab some delicious Thai food here.
For a bit of fun and some great entertainment pop into the Rock bar, which is across the metro overpass. They also do great G&T's.
Take the metro when you can as experiences with Taxi's in Bangkok were awful

We were 100% satisfied with our stay at Hua Chang!! We stayed for two nights and we wish we could stay there much longer. This was our second visit to Bangkok and we are very happy to have chosen Siam area to stay at instead of Nana area where we stayed last time. All the staff were nice and professional. All the facilities including our premier deluxe room were clean, comfortable and SUPER CUTE!!! The pool area is not big but you can’t find such a beautiful pool like this in the heat of downtown Bangkok. Oh, if you are going to stay at Hua Chang, please make sure you eat their breakfast! Their Thai noodles and fried rice were phenomenal. I don’t usually get write hotel feedbacks, but I just wanted to share how satisfied we are and we want to thank all the staff there! (Especially Ms. Lapapun who helped us book the room and Opal who kindly checked us in!) We will come back again!

I stay 3 nights and for 3 mornings i ate the same things for breakfast. Should have some changes everyday. Room looks clean however,I came back early one day and 2 housekeeper was talking and cleaning slowly. Told me to wait 15 mins. I went back 15 mins later, I realised the bed sheet and pillows cases are not change. And they left 3 cushions on the bare floor. They have forgotten to put them back on the bed or chair, but they were definitely left on the bare dirty floors. Found some areas with stains and molds, prove that they do not clean the room well enough. Only good thing is the hotel ie=s near all the shopping malls at Siam area,

He is not giving a nice image of the hotel and ruin my stay
