Lovely hotel and great central location. Good breakfast and overall convenient, accessible and comfortable. I do have one suggestion. Hotels should be more senior citizen friendly. The bathrooms and toilet/commode facilities should be easy for their use (not too low). Furthermore, wheelchair rental services should be offered.
What was most appreciated and memorable was the fact that my mother was travelling with us and suddenly threw her back out. The hotel entertained my request for complimentary breakfast to be served in her room as she was unable to go down. One night we wanted to go to a nearby restaurant across the hotel and Fluke the captain concierge was extremely helpful and kind. We requested for the hotel wheelchair and he took the effort to escort us to the restaurant and back. Loved staying here and dealing with courteous staff.

This hotel is located in between Terminal 21 (BTS/MRT Asok station) and EM@quarter shopping mall (BTS Phrom Phong station). The location is good if you know how to get around Bangkok with BTS/MRT, which is the best transportation to avoid Bangkok traffic nightmare. The pool is located on 8th floor adjacent to their buffet restaurant. The pool is on the east side, so the water is cold because it only gets sunlight in the morning. The breakfast buffet was just ok. Nothing special. The weekend seafood buffet was disappointment unlike many reviews here. Only shrimp was ok. The crab was small blue crab. You get 50% or so discount if you stay at the hotel, but you may find better value somewhere else. There are so many restaurants and eatery places wherever you go in Bangkok. Every shopping mall has a food court where you can enjoy many different dishes costs only few $.
This hotel is near Nana district (one BTS station away) known for Bangkok nightlife, so there are bars and such around the hotel.
The room was average. The bed was not very comfy. Maybe I was just unlucky.
Overall it was good. I will try to stay in a different hotel if I visit Bangkok next time.

1. We popped in Jan 2020. Gave them a few hours’ notice of our arrival. Our previous stay was in Sept 2019. We decided to stay here again as we know the staff on a first name basis and they are familiar with our requirements for cleanliness and service. The hotel location is close to Phrom Phong Station and Emquartier Shopping Mall.
2. We have written extensively about all aspects of the hotel in the following trip advisor reviews mentioned below that covered many aspects. For now - Its good and it gets better as old wine does.
3. Besides the comfort and hospitality, the breakfast and dinner buffet at Zeta Café where the service is about genuineness, there is one particular event that outshone their high standards anyway. On our 2nd last day, we met a young pleasant lady – Ms Lek the cleaner in charge of the floor, on our way out of the room to Zeta Café for breakfast. When we were back to the room, we were suitably impressed on the room cleanliness condition. The bathroom was even better with exact amount towels and bath accessories. Everything was spick and span. This is worth a big mention so as to bring recognition to the lady for her efforts - albeit the hotel does keep good standards.
4. At Zeta Café – you can pack some sandwiches for the day and some fruits and they will supply serviettes and disposable cutlery as well. Do not hesitate to ask if you think you have a long day ahead in town and are keen on a quick reliable food bite. Look for staff such as Ms Pui, Ms Nam.
5. Almost like Mum’s Cookies – For breakfast they have a certain simple almond cookie as shown in the photo. We had our plates replenished a few times and tucked some for a pack. Really nice.
6. At the reception we were efficiently handled by Ms Poom in person and her able assistants Ms Tracy and the team. They always asked if there was anything further to assist us for our stay. Check out was smooth and so was the Check In.
7. We stayed at level 20 and above at one of the corner rooms. Its big and wide with a small sofa. No complaints. There was a fruit platter arranged for us.
8. We had a lovely stay as always before at this particular Holiday Inn and look forward to the next stay.

Recently stayed at Holliday Inn Bangkok (Feb 2020). This was our second time staying at this location which is conveniently located along Sukhumvit Road and a BTS station. The staff is super friendly and welcoming. The included breakfast is also of very good quality and selection. Pool is nice and gym well equipped. Point of contention: at checkout I asked why I was not greeted as an IHG member when I Checked in and I verified if they had my IHG reward number as I had provided it at time of booking. I was disappointed to learn that because I had booked my stay through online service provider, that I would not be getting any reward points. I had specifically booked at Holiday Inn to make sure I had a reward membership transaction on record to save my points which would soon otherwise expire. The hotel receptionist did apologize and I did state to her that it was not her fault but obviously a company policy issue. The IHG is obviously not a good program if you are like me and most of my travels are booked through online service provider or my company’s agent. Next time I could equally stay at another hotel down the street which is as nice, clean, convenient and friendly. Thank you for the opportunity to comment on my experience.

I have just completed a one month stay at the Holiday Inn Hotel at Sukhumvit Soi 21.
The rooms are very tidy and quiet with the location being incredibly convenient in regards to Restaurants/ Bars / Transport
and Shopping.
The Buffet was very good and all staff
displayed a courteous and professional
manner throughout my stay of the highest standard.

Because of the Covid Crisis I cancelled my reservation (booked for April 2020) and requested a refund on March 21 2020. After several emails from the hotel reservation team promising a refund asap it is now July 30 2020 and still no refund, lots of broken promises but no refund. Any future customer should avoid booking because if a refund is required it is unlikely that they will get one. AVOID

I have just finished my 6D5N trip in Thailand with 2 nights in Chiangmai and 03 nights at this Holiday Inn Sukhumvit Bangkok and I could say it this trip was worth my time. Knowing that this is my anniversary trip, my room was luckily assigned in a very nice view thanks to Ms Siriporn (Reservation Manager) and I was blown away but this stunning view at night time.
My room was located in 21st floor which could see the beauty of BKK by night. The hotel's location itself is also very convenient as it only took 10 minutes by walking to BTS. There were night bars next to this hotel where I can find fun and chill with some local beers at night.
Furthermore, Concierge Team (especially Chief Concierge) and Reception (Ms Pom) were very helpful to provide all things to do in BKK for me. My schedules were filled up with joys thanks to them.
Maya Bar at 29th floor is also a nice place to enjoy some drinks with my partner in the last day. Bartender here did his great job to creat nice cocktails for us.
As Thai foods and Thai people gave me very good impressions , I hope to be back at soonest.

As this is my 40th visit (!!!) to the Holiday Inn hotel in Bangkok, Sukhumvit soi 22, it’s time to write a recommendation which I owe the hotel and it’s staff.
As IHG Diamond Elite member I get pampered with everything that makes my stay a pleasant one and feel at home.
The hotel is at a perfect location, centrally close to Emquartier and Emporium. 5 minutes walk to the BTS Skytrain and easy to catch a taxi.
The lobby is at the 9th floor where you are welcomed by highly friendly, experienced staff who help you swiftly with in/out checking.
On the 8th floor a large restaurant which features an extended weekend buffet at a very reasonable price, food always fresh and tasty.
The breakfast is great with friendly helpful staff. I’d like to give an extra recommendation to Mrs. Kate who is very knowledgeable about my special requests, however all the staff is professional and very attentive and friendly.

This hotel dont deserves it's ratings at all.
Firstly, although not at the highest level, i am afterall a gold platinum member. There was no subtlties at least to acknowledge my membership tier, and when my partner flashed his diamond elite membership asking if we couls be given a complimentary breakfast, their manager MILES just shook his head and walk away.
Then i got a room, which have constant knocking thudding around the bed area all night. Its fine that if faces the BTS track, you could hardly hear anything. But the knocking and thudding was non stop from 1am to 230am, and then again from 540am to 630am. It pretty much destroyed my sleep.
What was made worst, is the fact that all 3 phones in the room, cannot work. I cannot even call concierge to lodge a complain.
I finally did, spoke to MILES. And he actually didnt even intent to change me a room, just told me oh i sent engineer to check the phone. Only when i insist on a room change then did he obliged.
The 2nd room is slighly better, but problems came soon after. In the evening when it turns dark, then i realised the lamp near the sitting area flickers non stop. Imagine how creepy that is?
The phones again encounters problems, and after 30mins i tried again trying to get towels did i realised i was waiting for another 20mins on speaker. I hung up redial again, someone answered and said she will sent it up. I ended up waiting another 30mins again for the towels to be send.
I dont know what is happening to IHG these days, or maybe its this hotel. This is a full fledged Holiday Inn not Holiday Inn express, while staying at holiday inn express in HK, Siam and elsewhere they even acknowoledge my membership tier even when i was not at today's level, giving me welcome drinks etc.
Pretty much shame on this hotel , and also did i mentioned. There were flies in the 1st room, and a cleaning staff was just outside my room and i asked for a towel, he was arguing he has none when i saw big towels available on his trolley. I only relented because he said, he will make sure at 5pm he delivers to me, which he didnt. Also see photos, first room no bathrobes and second room has bathrobes, but its dirty looked like blood or faecal stain brown in color. And didnt smell like fresh linen either.
Miserable property, lousy pool and very poor breakfast selection. Dont pick this. Thanks

This hotel, like many others, is faccing challenging times along with very low occupancy levels.
The staff, to a person, did their utmost to keep guests, and staff, safe and comfortable throughout our stay.
Due to the low occupancy rates services were adjusted to to ensure the quality of services were maintained whilst ensuring the efficiency of the hotel wasn't compromised, whilst remaining poisitive.
Our four night stay was most enjoyable, our room was clean and very comfortable.
We had access to the Club facilities in the Maya restaurant, most enjoyable, thanks guys.
We ate there one evening, absolutly wonderful food.

Yes, it is Sha certified. Not sure about the lounge.
None this period. We get free self served coffee at the coffee machine. And for cocktail.. . its a simple set of Tapas consisting 3 food items. And each person limited to 2 alcoholic drinks.
