This is a great hostel if you want to be close to the Khaosan Road and other attractions. The staff are friendly, the ground floor is a restaurant that serves western food as well as thai. I'd go again.

One of the cheapest hostels we find in Bangkok. The room was totally ok and the resturant/bar of the hostel provides a nice environemnt to your experience. Good location and really helpful staff. Recommended for backpackers.

I was quite a bit disappointed by green guest house. I booked a twin room to get some sleep before my flight home. The room is really small which wouldnt be the Problem but on top of it, the room had an unpleasant smell. The fan didnt help either, since it smelled weird also. I slept okay because i was...

If you need somewhere to lay your head for one night this will do, but if you want to be the tiniest bit comfortable keep looking. Stayed in a 3 bed, shared bathroom room on the 4th floor. The door location is such that it is impossible to walk into the room with a backpack if the bathroom door is...

This hotel is in a great location just one block over from Khao San Road. The atmosphere is really nice. The general manager and staff are all so kind and very helpful. This really helps make the place.

It is a good place to stay. Rambuttri Road is a very active road with many things for to do,Thai massage, restaurants and souvenir to buy. It is close to Khao San Road, 15 min to Grand Palace and 10 min to the river (If you want to do a boat trip). What I did not like, the hostel does...

Spent one night here and really liked the atmosphere. The room was spacious and clean - the staff were really friendly, especially Ed the Customer Service Manager - really great guy! The location is also good, few seconds from Khao San Rd, seven/eleven - massage places, food etc. I definitely recommend this place for anyone on a budget trip.

My partner and I booked the private room in this hostel for 1 night and we would definitely never come back! The small dirty room, the A/C didn't work and no hot water for shower. Wifi was really bad and slow. The staff didn't try to do anything for us after we informed. Really disappointed!

Why should the staff bother to be nice and friendly? And how's getting there early and kindly be offered to keep your baggage for 30bath? Not even to mention the room we got, once we could finally check-in, which was completely different from the one in the picture we booked through booking.com, not nicer, of course. There're a lot of...

Staying in Banglamphu

Neighborhood Profile
Banglamphu
While you’ll see skyscrapers in most parts of Bangkok, it’s the gilded roofs of ancient pagodas that adorn the skyline of Banglamphu, the city’s historical and most touristic district. Hordes of tourists flock to this area to tick quite a few must-see attractions off their to-do list, with the Grand Palace being the most spectacular of them all. Banglamphu is also home to Bangkok’s infamous tourist ghetto, centered around Khao San Road. Visit at night to feast on road-side pad thai, cheap beers and if you’re up for it, some dancing fueled by buckets of Thai whiskey.
