Worst hotel experience ever. We had to agree that when checking the room description, information of the room was not wrong, but that doesn't mean that the info. provided was detailed or helpful enough. Here’s for more: 1- Inconsiderate room design & allocation: The room across the elevator, when you open the room door, you see strangers outside (waiting for the lift) looking into your room out of curiosity (not guests’ fault though; when you hear sound behind your back, it is reflex to look back) 2- The rooms are tiny (we stayed in 4 rooms), there were no toiletries (no slippers, no toothbrush, no razor - they explained that toiletries posted on the website meaning shower and shampoo). Even when requested, they said that it was not available since this was a budget hotel - at about $70/night, no breakfast included, feel like they were calling me cheap, very badly put). There was no luggage rack (beware, this was not clarified in room info.), so we had to tuck our luggage under the bed. Every time we need something out of it, we had to basically crawl on the floor, pull it out from under the bed (or else no space to walk around). We have elders in our group, this was a nuisance and inconvenient at most. 3- Worst part is the bathroom, the tiniest bathroom ever, non-suitable for persons with claustrophobia. The shower area was tiny; you couldn't move freely without touching the doors or the walls. There was a slit of the two doors closed into the shower, making water run all over the floor from the slit. The sink was small, clogged, and dirty. 4- There were no sockets at the bedside tables (rather counters) for phone or any other device chargers, why? This is so inconvenient. All in all, I cannot believe this hotel was run & operated by Accor. We sent them a request for cancelation, they promised to answer within 48 hours, but 4 days later, there still was no response, what a bad customer communication. The staff attitude was mediocre at best. Even though there was smiling faces, but when trouble arose, they did not show any sympathy or trying to be helpful either, just run by the rules. We complained, and all we got was that "the information was posted clearly on the website". This is not customer service, rather emotionless industrialized process. The seemingly good parts are (1) there was a convenient store on the ground floor (convenient but not vital, there were convenient stores everywhere, easy to find in this tourism area (2) location right next to the BTS (again, not vital – many other hotels arounds the same area which are only 1- or 2-minutes walking to this BTS). We definitely would never stay here again; this has left a bad taste to our trip.

It's located directly opposite MBK, and all the major shopping malls are within walking distance. We even walked all the way to Platinum Mall. This is the 2nd time we have stayed at ibis Bangkok Siam, but we realized that the rooms are much smaller then our first stay, I'm not sure why it is smaller. Plus, the aircon has a strange tapping sound every hour, you may need to check room 1418.

Ibis Bangkok Siam is in a convenient location, steps away from BTS National Stadium and within close distance to major malls. Rooms are comfortable tho a little small. There is a 7-11 in the lobby which is super convenient too especially for late night meals

After my disaster of a homestay in Ayutthaya, I decided to cut short my trip there and move forward my trip to Bangkok. Thankfully, the Ibis Siam had a room available, at a reasonable rate for a single traveller like me. This is not my first time here and their standards have remained. Basic set-up with clean rooms and bathrooms, comfortable bed and pillows, no-frills but oh so reliable. Glad to be back!

Hotel staff were friendly and always ready to assist. My partner was unwell and needed to see a doctor in the middle of the night, staff arranged for a taxi to bring us to the hospital. Accidentally left a stain on the bed from the diarrhoea which the staff helped to clean up and disinfect without questions. Location was great, just in front of the hotel is the stairs to BTS station National Stadium. The OneSiam Skywalk that brings you access to various malls is within walking distance as well. Buffet breakfast was great, make sure to order their omelette, it's cooked upon request. Restaurant is clean and staff ensures that the lid is covered at all times so food does not get contaminated. We had a pleasant stay here.

Beside National Stadium Skytrain, one stop away from Siam shopping area. Breakfast is overpriced. Some receptionists not on the ball, taking it easy. Very modern and compact. A pleasant area of Bangkok.

First hotel visit in this part of Bangkok. Read a few reviews that said rooms small noisy etc but we found the hotel quiet, rooms are smaller but adequate good location for shopping and eating and very reasonably priced. Breakfast had a good choice of foods.
