W Bangkok had never failed to suprises me. I had not been counting my stays with W Bangkok. But they has surprised me on my tenth stays with them with the gift and snacks. Of course, not forgetting the Spa staff had been remembering me as always. Kudos to the hotel for the remembering.

I must admit at first I was a bit reluctant to stay at a W as they are so trendy and everyone is beautiful that I didn't think I would relax. Well from the minute I arrived nothing was too much to ask, everyone was friendly, the service was phenomenal , I felt like I was royalty. I can't thank...

I stayed at the W for about a week and I'd highly recommend this hotel. It's in the great location, close to good restaurants and a BTS (skytrain) stop as well as a mall. There is also an amazing Thai massage location right down the street. The front desk staff were friendly and incredibly helpful and I was able to...

One thing I've always found interesting about the W brand is the variability in quality depending on which city you're staying in. There have been some properties (looking directly at you, W Seattle and W New York-Times Square), where the building is old and run down, and basically looks like it was just bought and someone decided to slap a...

Opinions vary right :) Well, here is mine, take it for what it is worth, but you should find this review very valuable if your American. And, maybe from another country too :) First Impression, coming in at night, was that of a hip (20's - 30's) range atmosphere. The doorman, at arrival were superb and very friendly. Throughout my...

Every Thursday ladies can drink sparkling white wine from 7:30pm to 9pm. I went last week and it was one of the best nights out in Bangkok, the staff were really friendly and welcomed us as non guests. I felt so comfortable sitting in their fancy W Bar sipping my wine and munching on free bar peanuts. It is so...

I really like the breakfast spread and rooms are modern and clean. All the lights are controlled by a central tablet so sometimes frustrating to have to walk to get the tablet when you want to switch lights on/off. On the flip side if the table is next to you, no walking necessary. While I do like the W hotel...

Dear JustJaneM, We're happy to hear that you enjoyed the room and breakfast while here. There is certainly lots to do in the evening and Woobar does have DJs each night. Staying in Silom

Neighborhood Profile
Silom
Despite the lack of any major tourist attractions, this lively neighborhood is a favorite of many. Whether it's the (somewhat naughty) nightlife of Soi Patpong, the various handicraft night markets or the plethora of dining options that tickle your fancy, a night out in Silom is a must on every itinerary. It's worth a stop during daytime, too: join office workers on a quest to tasty street food during lunch and shop at Silom Complex for a great mix of Thai and international stores. After a day of strolling around the congested sidewalks, a visit to Silom's Lumphini Park, Bangkok's answer to NYC's Central Park, is a welcome change of scenery.
