The beds are some of the most uncomfortable I've managed not to sleep in. The wifi is tedious having to log in every time you move within the hotel. Every time we returned to the hotel we found our room key had stopped working (despite keeping it away from our phones) so one of us had to go back down...

We stayed at the Davis with our kids and enjoyed the family friendly atmosphere, the pool is great for our older kids and they have a good breakfast buffet. There was a free tuk tuk service to the MRT Train service making for an easy start to the day. The executive suite is a good 2 bedroom option for families....

Extremely efficiently run, very competent and helpful staff, decent spa, quiter part of Sukhumvit soi, StarBucks next door, adequate breakfast, two nice restaurants within 5 minutes walking distance - a lebanese and an italian & the BRT station a 3 minute ride on motorbike cab from where it is far quicker to travel than a cab. That would sum up...

The room was very spacious (we had a superior room). After travelling for 3 months I really appreciated the fact that the bathroom actually had a bath in it and the shower was the most powerful shower I have ever used! The WiFi was very good and the staff were professional and helpful. The roof terrace and pool is a...

Booked a studio in the corner wing and was upgraded. Great value for money for a 4 star hotel and easy walk to Phrom Phong BTS (1km). Rooftop pool gets good sun for most of the day however only has about 13 sun loungers. Chang by the pool is 200 baht. If you are in the corner wing you need...

We booked this place for 5 days in Bangkok but ended up staying for 7. Very good service and all staff were friendly and helpful. The concierge sorted tickets for Muay Thai on the spot so that ten mins after deciding to go we were in a cab to the stadium. Comfy bed, fridge and microwave in room and all...

Positives: We were upgraded to a room in the main wing which was large and clean. Hotel were accommodating with an early check in and late check out which was good. Hotel pool on rooftop is nice. Negatives: Staff weren't overly friendly Breakfast is not great selection Is quite a long walk from hotel to main Sukhumvit, whilst you can...

Good sized room. All the amenities. Very nice check in staff. Good location. Bit worn but perfectly fine. Good tv options. Plenty of water and coffee. Fridge and microwave. Good location. Would stay again.

I always assumed it was a luxury hotel, but it was far from it. The rooms weren't very clean (weren't visibly dirty though), the bed springs were just back-achingly terrible, staff were alright. In no way did it scream luxury. I did stay in the east wing, perhaps this was the problem. Location is undoubtedly good.

Staying in Sukhumvit

Neighborhood Profile
Sukhumvit
With a mix of shopping malls, hip bars and food stalls lining both sides of Thailand’s longest road, you’ll rarely encounter a dull moment along Sukhumvit. While the main road itself doesn't offer a lot in terms of entertainment, it's the adjoining 'sois' (alleys) where the magic happens. Popular spots are soi 11 for a lively night out, soi 4 for naughty nightlife and soi 21 for world-class shopping at Terminal 21. It's hard to cover everything this area has to offer in on day, so be sure to take your time. Sukhumvit is heavily congested with traffic during day and night, so getting from A to B is most convenient using the BTS Skytrain right above it.
