This was our first stop in Thailand. The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. Check in was quick. Our room was gorgeous, so spacious and had a lovely view of Bangkok. Location wise, it's great - very central so you can go out to the main road and ask for hail down a taxi. Main road with the nicer hotels so no craziness but there can be a fair bit of traffic during rush hour. One piece of advice is make sure you get a taxi with a meter, that way you don't find yourself having to negotiate rates. The breakfast was good loads of variety, no complaints. Check in was nice and easy to.
we stayed for 5 nights a couple of months ago. great room that was spacious and very clean. staff courteous and welcoming. we will definitely be booking here for our next visit to Bangkok. we highly recommend this Hotel for all you fussy travellers. enjoy
Stayed here for 3 nights. Location is great with a BTS within about 50 meters of the hotel which made travelling round Bangkok quite easy. Room was good but could of been a little bit bigger. Breakfast was great and so were the staff. Would I stay here again, yes I would
We originally booked 3 nights in this hotel but it was so great that we stayed an extra night! The hotel is right as you see it in the pictures. Room: Be sure to book an executive room, you will have a corner room with a spectacular view on Bangkok! The room is new and really beautiful, bathroom is really great (you have both shower and tub). Luggage deposit: When we arrived, we left our luggages at the reception, since we arrived early (check in starts at 14:00). Breakfast: Breakfast was not included, at check in they have an offer for breakfast and for spa treatments! We accepted the offer for the breakfast and it really was great, the cook omelettes and all sorts of eggs express and the staff is really friendly and polite!! The last day was my birthday, my fiancé ansked for a surprise cake the same morning and even if it was so last minute, they delivered a cake in the room in the evening! Pool: The infinity pool is really beautiful, pool staff is nice and there is a bar where you cam buy cocktails. They give you fresh towels (they keep them in a hot place so they are warm when they give them to you, so nice!). Position: the hotel is right in front of the Surasak BTS station so it is really a great spot! You can reach the Chaopraya river quite fast and also it is a good place to reach the airport by BTS and metro (approx 40 minutes) Overall a really great hotel!! We will be staying again when we will return to Bangkok! Thank you for making my birthday special!…
The hotel is in a good area with easy access to the river and places to explore. The rooms are a good size with two double beds and nice facilities. The roof top bar has amazing views and the pool area was clean and a nice place to relax. Staff are friendly and willing to help when required. The room service was ok but better options are available nearby. There is a 7/11 within 5 minutes walk and the pier is also very close to pick up the hop on/off boats. A great base to explore Bangkok 😀
Room was on the 33rd floor, very spacious, great views of Bangkok. Breakfast was good, with plenty of choice. Nice little pool area and spa. Great roof top bar. Hotel in good location. Negative - shower area of the bathroom could do with a bit of TLC!
On the surface, this should be a fine hotel. Check in was chaotic, but that's a one-off. The room was on the 33rd floor, very spacious, great views of Bangkok, and with separate bathroom, shower and loo! Sadly, there was only one of everything to share - 1 bar of soap, 1 shower gel, 1 shampoo, etc etc. The room also felt a little tired. The lighting in the room was inadequate - perhaps that's why they supply a torch. Breakfast was decent, with plenty of choice. We didn't use the other hotel facilities, so can't comment on these. It really wouldn't take much to improve this hotel dramatically, but as it stands, we left feeling that we could have found somewhere much better.
First the good, but there isn’t much bad Location was great for us train station right outside 5 stations from mbk shopping and mbk food market which dits directly under the mbk shopping mall, walking distance to some great places to eat Roof top pool bar is excellent and for the view the food and drink prices are quite reasonable, I definitely recommend happy hour, great hamburgers ! Roof top bar is great but a little pricey at approx $12 aud for a beer, very good chicken wings Service was very good, although we found communicating with reception staff a little difficult At times, but very helpful Breakfast voucher was very confusing we thought we purchased buffet American but kept asked to be seated and they would bring things over Now the okay...or average We asked to be put on the same floor as our sons when we booked 3 months prior, sadly this didn’t happen If you don’t like cigarette smoke do not stay on level 18 as it has a strong smoke door that was also in the room, must have been a smoking floor in its early days, this was our sins level, and the sink kept blocking Our room level 21 was fine and the beds in both rooms were very comfortable Dissaponting with the the pool and gym closing times But all in all 8/10…
Situated very near to the Skytrain station this is convenient hotel for visiting Bangkok touristy places. From the top 38th floor the view is visible for miles. Rooms are stylish, and of different types-we changed to the Western style room on 35 floor which was more spacious. Breakfast was superb & served our vegetarian needs. Dinner in the Roof top restaurant was expensive & unfortunately not tasty or satisfactory, despite purchasing a discount price voucher. Drinks also a bit pricey. The atmosphere however was relaxing. Took a whole body massage which was an experience. Reception staff, concierge, porters were all very friendly & obliging.
This hotel on the face of it looks lovely but once you stay you see the flaws. Very low lighting in the corridors which helps not seeing the threadbare carpet and chewing gum. Our room had ring marks that were sticky on the surfaces, due to our tiredness on arrival just used antibacterial wipes, which was most probably the better option, as the housekeeping is a little lax as found a used plaster on second to last day behind the complimentary bath products, as used own and hadn’t moved them. The lighting in the room is not only confusing but also not very bright, so it’s hard to see. Couldn’t Fathom how to put individual lights on at night so took phone torch to the toilet. Limited supplies like toilet paper only one roll in room no spare. The bath towels had seen better days as they were becoming threaded at edges. We were even Limited on hand towels being replaced by two flannels. Can’t wrap your hair up in that!!!! Our dirty cups were not replaced but tea and coffee was. If two of you there is limited space to put cases without falling over them. I put mine in the hanging area, bearing in mind this is and area to hang clothes the lighting is extremely poor and I had to use a torch to see in my case. The bathroom door did not shut properly either. We had a separate toilet which had a sink in it which lacked soap and a towel or even a place to hang it. There was a fuse box under the step going into the bathroom, which nearly trod on in bare feet. The swimming pool area looks lovely until you get to the end and look over the wall, where you will find old straws, beer cans and slippers. The wall needs a coat of paint as it looks shabby. With breakfast you were given a cup of tea no pot like most hotels I’ve stayed and that’s quite a few. Also given no teaspoon. Breakfast there is a good selection. The staff I would say were polite not overly friendly. Considering this is classed as four star I am disappointed. …
