A pretty decent hotell close to Ekka Mai buss station. Everything was satisfactory, good beds, big room, good bathroom, cooler, tv etc.. Good service.. only slightly annoying thing is the expensive extra charge for early check in. A plus was that they accepted a delivery a day or so before our arrival.

This hotel is a little down a lane off the main road. Maybe 3 mins walk from Ekkamai BTS station. This provides for quiet evenings. Check in was smooth and easy. I booked a twin room for 2 nights. The room is spacious and very clean. Everything works fine and the wifi connection is good. Great place to stay. Breakfast... More

It's a very basic place, but its location is very convinient to make one day trips because it's close to bus stations, rooms were spacious and very well mantained, one of the cleanest places I have stayed in Thailand, staff was friendly and helpful also.

Located nearby sky train and shopping centers. Hotel's lobby comes with old theme which at first I thought that was a restaurant. Room is nice and clean, size is average and value for money. Limited choice of food for breakfast and elevators are too slow.

Located ideally in the center with walking distance to Ekkamai BTS sky train station. The staff at the reception are super friendly, warm and ever so helpful. The young gentleman who is a barista and a receptionist (sorry, I am terrible with names) make the best cappuccino I have drank outside Italy. The rooms were comfortable and clean but the... More

Booked via TripAdvisor / Agoda. 1,350 baht internet deal. Deluxe Master Suite. Surprisingly quiet given proximity to Sukhumvit road. Room was big, light, clean. Bed was comfortable. The addition of a writing desk was welcome. Bathroom big and clean, good water pressure. 4 minute walk to Ekkamai BTS (much closer than Thonglor). Very convenient and well priced room

While I was traveling through Thailand this year in January and Febraury I relaised that often if the owners of hotels and guest houses are Chinese they try to scam you! Pictures, descriptions of rooms, hotel and services, as well as conditions and prices published in the net and through booking sites are not what you will see in reality.... More

I arrived at this hotel and was shown the room which i booked, and i was not impressed at all, i think the pictures on Agoda have been enhanced to make it look nicer.because the room i was shown was nothing like the one in the picture.everything in the room was old and well used and out of date really,,... This is an excellent location if you are planning on taking a bus to Koh Kood or Koh Chang from Ekkamai bus station - it is just across the street. Plenty of good food options nearby and sky train is on your doorstep. The rooms were simple but clean. They do a nice breakfast: you can choose from a selection... More

My experience started on a somewhat unpleasant note with the lady at the desk (manager ?) basically replying to my "sawadee krup" with "1000 baths" and no smile or salutation. Once I mentioned I had an Agoda booking, she remained speechless but searched for quite a while in a book and eventually found the reservation, then merely repeated "1000 baths... More

Staying in Thong Lor & Ekamai

Neighborhood Profile
Thong Lor & Ekamai
Known as Bangkok’s hippest neighbourhood, Thong Lor and Ekamai is where the city's well-dressed and well-heeled spend their nights sipping cocktails in hidden speakeasies and posh restaurants. Live it up in one of Thong Lor's extravagant clubs and be prepared to brush shoulders with a Thai celebrity or two. While great for a night out, the area is nothing short of interesting during the daytime, either. Expect a mix of savvy coffee shops, pop-up bars and loads of vintage stores, brought to you by hip locals with eyes for design.
