The restaurant is settled in a white house - hotel at the end of Soi 41. All menu is based on small portions (non as small as tapas but that allow you to try more dishes from menu, based on the isaan northern cuisine. Fish was very good and tender, we had a seabass and a squid, plus papaya salad... More

Had a comfortable stay. Worried at first about being in between subway stations but got used to exploring the area on foot. The hotel was obviously styled and the staff nice but I can't imagine how two people could be comfortable in the small room. If you're expected to hangout in the rest of the hotel then the library and... More

Amazing food & great prices. The atmosphere is amazing and so romantic. The food is delicious. Everything we ordered was so good. Also the interior of the restaurant is so classy and elegant. After dinner we had some tea, in one of the tea rooms. I had such an amazing experience and will definitely be back

Perfect little boutique hotel nestled in a wuiet sukhumvit soi. Hotel is done in a colonial style and staff are gracious and courteous. Lovely suites, although the bathrooms are very small. Rooftop pool is lovely. Very quiet hotel with beautiful colonial decor. Good location for Partying at Quince, access to Emporium, access to BTS.

I found Cabochon Hotel on TripAdvisor and was pleasantly surprised. The staff and hotel are reminiscent of what luxury travel was like many, many years ago. The staff was warm and accommodating, the décor was filled with time period furniture and antiques, and our room was generously spacious. Centrally located off Sukhumvit, the hotel is a perfect balance of location... More

A great hideaway just off Sukhumvit with a beautifully curated experience full of curiosities, each room filled for a quiet browse. The things you discover. A step back into a indochin residence, sit back, with a cocktail or two, turn off the phone and relax before you venture out. Great warm and welcoming service, thank you. Very easy to recommend.

We stayed here for 2 nights to start our honeymoon. It was super cute. Great location and staff was awesome. Breakfast was nice and we had a nice air conditioned room. The only downside was no bath tub, only shower, but its cool, we were happy! Would love to stay again!

This is it! Don't come here to find the latest gadgets in comfort for the decerned business traveler, but make a visit to the past yet excellent in style and service. Enjoy the wonderful surroundings of a truly colonial style. What makes it all a really very nice experience is the personal service! Yes it is a kind of home.... More

Beautiful colonial style building chock full of quirky antics and books on interior design. We loved the living room and porch. The rooms are simple, but clean and you will find all you need. Just not very handy that some of the rooms have a bath tube only. Palm, the receptionist was very helpful in booking a tour for us... More

I have just moved to Soi Sukhumvit 43 which is located near to Cabochon restaurant and, thought tonight, I will give it a try as I had enjoyed a lot Eugenia, restaurant of the same group. But the service staff was a problem here, rude, inconsiderate and poor training. Although, I had requested the change of waiter and later the... More

Staying in Sukhumvit

Neighborhood Profile
Sukhumvit
With a mix of shopping malls, hip bars and food stalls lining both sides of Thailand’s longest road, you’ll rarely encounter a dull moment along Sukhumvit. While the main road itself doesn't offer a lot in terms of entertainment, it's the adjoining 'sois' (alleys) where the magic happens. Popular spots are soi 11 for a lively night out, soi 4 for naughty nightlife and soi 21 for world-class shopping at Terminal 21. It's hard to cover everything this area has to offer in on day, so be sure to take your time. Sukhumvit is heavily congested with traffic during day and night, so getting from A to B is most convenient using the BTS Skytrain right above it.
