The receptionist was very kind and serviceminded, but when we were checking out of the room the bed linens had some spots of blood on them because my girlfriend had scraped her knee. We then were asked to pay 500 baht for them to clean the linens, or we could wash them ourselves. We thought this was excorbitant for minor spots on the linens that would wash out easy. We opted to clean them ourselves, it took us 5 minutes with cold water and soap. We then had to pay 50 baht to wash the linens in their washing machine, and were not allowed to leave until the machine was done. After, we had to pay 40 baht to dry the linens in their dryer. We are coming back to BKK in a couple of weeks and were thinking to stay here again for that stay, but with this experience we will choose some other accommadation. Never have I had to pay to wash dirty bedding. This is something that always is included in the hotel service. We stayed in a private double room with private bathroom.

1. The location: On the hotel description it is nowhere mentioned (obviously), but this place is located directly in the middle of one of the bigger prostitution streets in Bangkok. If you visit Bangkok for the very first time, you should be definitely aware of that, because it will bring you some very disgusting experiences. 2. The place is nearly not accessible with the taxi - You always have to walk into a small street, because it is very small and mostly blocked by prostitutes (no joke). 3. The smell: When you visit Bangkok, you should be already aware of the worse smell you can discover there. This hostel, on the other hand, pushes this smell to another level. The whole ground floor smells like someone died there weeks ago and would still wait for his check-in on one of the (never cleaned) chairs. The reason is that nearly the whole personal sleeps within the lobby. 4. A partially working wifi. If you have an iPhone, you will have a lot of fun with the wifi there, since it only lets you connect within the lobby and not with any other of the networks. Depending on the room, you may don't even get a signal from the lobby. 5. Language problem: None of the really understands English. I tried very hard, but there is no chance of good communication. 6. Unfriendly personal: When we had problems, they were advising us to fix the stuff by ourselves rather than doing it for us. They also laughed about our problems and were not interested in helping us. 7. Stolen items: On our second last day, someone removed my GoPro from the Apartment. When I mentioned it at the reception, they said they haven't seen anything and laughed again about our problem. They also use towels taken from hospitals. 8. Black Marketing: Inside the reception is a sign that says the following: "Rate us with five stars on Tripadvisor and get a free drink!" - That speaks for itself. I discovered a lot more issues with this hostel, but booking.com limits the amount I'm allowed to write here.

Dark place in the middle of red light district, dirty and old bathrooms, dark rooms, bad odor, I booked a bed in a 6 beds shared female room and I was the only traveler, the other ladies where living there with blankets covering around beds (as curtains). I booked 6 nights and after first night I left to another better place! With same price there are tons of places better than this one. The receptionist was friendly was the only good thing.

Greeting and thank you for your review. We feel very sorry that your experience was not according to your expectations. Red light district, that is incorrect, we are based in Sukhumvit which is super-central. We try to keep the bathrooms as clean as possible. Have a great trip ahead. Management

Its lil bit shock when i arrived to the hotel. The main street is really hectic, bars everywhere and also the restaurants (good point). We asked about late check in n its oke. When we entered the room, its really quite.so we had good sleep.the living room was nice, they provide ukelele, computer also the pool table which is good for the customer. But for those who find halal food its lil bit hard. Another option to get halal food is seven eleven or mcd or u go acrros the main street there’re so much indian restaurant. Overall its nice place for budget traveler.
