I stayed for 5 nights here in September 2022 as a solo female traveller finishing off their holiday in Thailand. The hotel on first appearance looks nice clean modern. However, the rooms tell another story. Although exceptionally clean, they were so outdated and not modern in the slightest. All the electrics are controlled by a pad in the middle of the room, which can get annoying. This pad was hardwired into the wall which left the socket exposed and very dangerous. The electrics often cut out with lights flickering as the wire was clearly dodgy. One of the lights didn’t work so of an evening the room was extremely dark and poorly lit. There was only two plugs that I could use which was by the door which was frustrating. The WiFi worked for the first three days really well but then cut out saying it had expired. The shower was really short in height so had to bend down in order to wet and wash my hair. The walls are paper thin so I often heard things I shouldn’t have to during the evenings and at night! The doors all slam shut instead of closing gently so was often woken during the night by neighbours slamming doors shut. The location of the hotel was a huge problem for me as a solo female so I ensured I was back before dark (6pm) as the men outside the hotel were often intimidating to try and get me in their tuktuks. For this reason I would not advise anyone who is a lone female to stay in this hotel. It’s located right next to the canal which is good for the ferry/boat rides to the BTS or shopping malls. The hotel is also surrounded by nothing but wholesale markets. There is no restaurants or eateries anywhere near this hotel but they did have a 7/11 at the back which became a godsend. I wish I had done more research into where I was staying before coming and I know for next time to do more of a intricate search. They also request a 1000 baht security deposit on arrival which you get back when you check out. On the up side the views from the room were incredible (albeit the windows were filthy with hand and fingerprints), the pool was a nice touch and the staff were incredibly friendly. They had a luggage service so you could drop your bags to the hotel as check in wasn’t until 2pm and they were VERY strict on it, they would tag them and give you a receipt. When you checked in your bags would be sent to your room which was helpful. Unfortunately I was very glad to be leaving extremely early for my flight and wouldn’t stay here again if I was to come back.

Rooms were spotless. Shower was always hot. Great location to everything, plenty of Tuk tuks outside to bring you anywhere! Always haggle in price with them. Pool area was gorgeous and a lovely view of the city from your there, but drinks were a little pricey! Avoid food in the hotel, very expensive for what you get.

The service was terrible, people were not friendly, the toilet wasn’t working well, room smelled bad, food so so. But one good thing is they have a good view.. we spend one of the worst time in Bangkok. I booked through booking and the price was doble of the real price I paid 55 and in the hotel it was 35

Very clean hotel, beds comfy, shower too low for us tall British people, had to sit in bath to wash hair. Breakfast lots of choice, just a shame they didn’t keep it warm, cold breakfast is not enjoyable and breakfast staff miserable. Good location

For an old and not renovated hotel, except for possibly new carpet, they hotel is ok for the price. It was clean and friendly staff. Only a great location if you plan to shop Baobae Market, which I did. Love it for wholesale garments. Beware, there are no places to eat in this area. Amazon Coffee in the tower behind the hotel. Overall it’s a good hotel for the price and shopping location.

Giant room, very nice staff, nice pools and great breakfast. We have booked a 3-bedroom apartment and it is huge. We love it. We are travelling with 3 kids and it is just perfect. If you look at other reviews you probably read stuff like old and out dated but our room was ok. Look, a 5 star hotel here is a 3-star hotel in Europe, but again, love the room, good beds, 2 bathrooms, and the hotel helped by booking a high floor. The staff make it a 5-star hotel, very friendly, fast check-in and because we landed very early we got an extremely early checkin for only 1000 bath extra. Last but not least, the pool area is very nice, with great views. This is our second time here (first time 14 years ago) and it is the best value for money Bangkok can give you. Highly recommend it.

Stayed here in June end. Booked a deluxe room with king bed but got a lower category room with separate beds. when asked the front desk, a THAI OLD MAN with short hair around 5'3" height - clearly said this is what they have and take it. When i asked him to change the room, the guy actually threatened us - stay what you have been given and i do not care etc etc. The hotel is very big but very badly managed. Do not fall for the big building... photos on the internet or various hotel booking sites. also the location is not to die for.
